Well without going into any details about the plot, I just want to say that I'm very impressed with the single player game so far. The story is much more immersive than other Splinter Cell games this time around due to the two sides of the law that you're trying to please. I think that I've watched too much 24, because I had no problem killing someone in order to keep my cover in tact lol. Jack Bauer would've been proud.
As far as gameplay goes, vets of the series will have no problem jumping right in and getting the hang of the controls. The overall feel of the game is very similar as well. People have complained about the graphics a bit, but I feel that they're quite solid personally. They're nothing mindblowing, but they're on par with most games today.
I'm really digging how this games enviornments seem to vary from map to map. In the other Splinter Cell games it too often felt like the entire game was just one long level. I've gone from prison, to blinding snow, to the Shanghai. It's a nice mix of locales that I hope continues. I'm loving this game so far. I actually called in late today to get some more playing time lol. I should probably leave sometime soon.
