No. Outside of possibly MLB The Show, there isn't an exclusive game out there for the PS3, that for me makes it worth that kind of investment.

I voted yes, but I will probably hold off for about a year or so when the price drops. I am mainly a sports gamer and I will sell my 360 when I decide to get the PS3 primarily for the 989 MLB series. If 2K sports gets their act together and makes the MLB game as good as their old football and new basketball games, then I may not need the PS3.
Blu-ray and/or HD-DVD mean absolutely nothing to me.

Well I chose not sure, because I will get one eventually, just not a launch or even in 2006. Not enough on PS3 that is even an interest.....
Only game I see so far as a purchase is Metal Gear...
After seeing DMC 4 in Game Informer, I'm not interested anymore. And haven't seen any other games worth getting.
Heavenly Sword isn't all that hot...and Motostorm looks to be a bore.
But on my 360, I have tons of exclusives I see getting..
Crackdown
Gears of War
Bioshock
Ghost Recon Chapter 3
Dead or Alive Extreme 2
Mass Effect
Alan's Wake
Kane and Lynch
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Project Gotham 4
Forza 2
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Tenchu
Ninja Gaiden 2
Killer Instinct 3
and so many more....looks like 360 is a exclusive house..
not to mention the exclusives I already own..
DOA 4
NBA 2k6
Test Drive Unlimited
Prey
Quake 4
Perfect Dark Zero
Kameo
Ghost Recon and all its expansions
Saints Row
Call of Duty 2
Dead Rising
Just Cause
and about 15 more....
Right now, Xbox 360 just blinds me away from PS3.Comment

Re: Poll: If you have a 360, will you get a PS3?
No way I'm getting a PS3. I'm happy with my 360. People that say there is no price difference if you factor in everything that comes with the system and compare to the same equipment for the 360 fail to make an important distinction: the price is about the same IF YOU WANT OR NEED THE EXTRA ITEMS. Otherwise, it's jsut much more expensive. The problem isn't that they're ripping you off on th eactual stuff in the box but rather there there is no lower cost alternative for those that don't care about the extras, which makes the 360 much cheaper.
On a different note, this may sound crazy but I'm actually considering the purchase of a PS2 rather than a PS3 to go along with my 360. There are many PS1 and PS2 titles that I'm nostalgic about like the Gran Turismo games, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy and Soul Calibur series, not to mention certain sports games (to this point I haven't had as much fun with a racing game as I had with NASCAR 2005).
I had a PS2 that I sold when I got my XBOX. I sold my XBOX after getting my 360 even though there were still titles I enjoyed for it, such as what I would call "fringe" sports titles (Rugby 06, MVP NCAA Baseball, Arena Football). I was expecting these to become backward compatible or for 360 versions to be made sometime this year. It's now pretty apparent that neither will happen. So I'm really tempted to pick up a PS2 while I still can and have access to these old favorites as well as other stellar titles from the PS1 and PS2 era, most of which can be had for a very low price these days.
I'm set with next gen and there are still current gen titles coming out that I really want to play, so I'll look at the PS3 option next year.
There is nothing wrong getting another PS2, there are still plenty of titles coming.Comment
