There's a slight chance I might back into getting a ps3 tomorrow morning. Turns out my aunt was planning on being at Sams tomorrow morning at 7am when the business hours starts and she is going to try and get one for me. I had already told my other family member that was depending on me to find him one that it was a lost cause, so if I do happen to get one, it's straight to ebay, then I should be able to use the extra $ to take care of all my Christmas shopping then possibly a Wii. Can't decide if I would really play it that much. If I was smart, I would go ahead and pay off Lost Planet, FTA 4, Halo 3 and NCAA 08. lol

If you are strictly a sports gamer and you want more options, the PS3 is the way to go. For me, my console of choice will come down to the success or failure of 2K's baseball offering. If this game stinks, I will probably sell my 360 and buy a PS3. Not to mention a little game called NFL 2K5 being available on the PS3 only.

NFL 2K5? Man let that game die, please.

Most Sams were only getting 1 or 2 consoles and have had people lined up for a while. They got 20 or so 360's last year.

Yeah, I'm not really holding my breath, but it sure would be a nice surprise. Somebody said (on here, I think) that the people camping out doing get to go in until regular store hours, so maybe I"ll get lucky.

as much as i'm sure that game will probably kick a$$, I just can't see myself spending 600+ just to play one game.

Actually, for me...the reason I'm considering the PS3 is because of MLB: The Show...that game is incredible on PS2.

I'm mostly a sports gamer (wrestling, nba, choops, mlb), and those games are on both 360 and PS3.

But, if I can't get a PS3, I'll try and get a 360 for $100 on Thanksgiving on Amazon.com

I preordered at Gamestop, no games, it's going directly on ebay to pay for the all the Christmas gifts my wife and I have to buy for our families.

Picked up my PS3 this morning. The Ebay market is sucking so I'm putting the reserve price at 2k and if no one bites, I'm keeping it.
