I'm picking up my PS3 after work today. The EB guy called me this morning to tell me it was in. I asked him if he had copies of Resistance available for those who didn't preorder it and he said, "Well, to be honest, nobody really preordered any PS3 games. I don't know what you're doing with yours, but everyone's just selling the system on eBay."

Par for the course. My local GS got in 24 copies of Resistance, and the manager has no clue why. They sold one copy. I'm sure it'll pick up after the Ebay'ers get their systems next week, but now, why bother. My buddy just told me that they sold all 6 systems, but sold 1 copy of Resistance and 1 copy of NBA2K7.Comment

It definately seems very lack luster! With everyone trying to capitalize on Ebay we probably will see 300,000 ps3's for sale on there shortly. I understand what you are saying, but doesn't Sony lose money by just selling the consoles and no games? I realize that the people that buy them on EBAY are going to buy games for them, but it may not help Sony during this quarter. I don't know who is going to buy a console for $2000. Really, think about that. Who is their right mind wants to play any game that bad right now?

i remember at my 360 launch at my gamestop, they had 9 systems, and EVERYONE bought 2 or 3 games and no one was planning on selling it on ebay.Comment
