Re: Keep or Sell
I picked sell too but I don't necessarily condone it. This was that same dilemma that we had when the 360 came out. I think that it's a patient thing. Those who are willing to pay that much for it either are fanatics that need to reevaluate what their life means, rich people who don't mind spending some loot to help out the common man while getting what they want, or people who should have stayed in school a little longer. I was the first one when the 360 came out. Wait, so people are selling their preorders for the PS3 on ebay??Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
I also have had zero problems with my 360, thus far. I did buy the warranty, just in case. I had two by launch day and sold one of them to WTF for exactly what I paid for it. His died, mine lives on, so far. I really have more faith in my PS2 outlasting my 360.
It's all in how you take care of things and some luck is also involved, but to say that the launch PS2s were **** is stretching it. It's not a fact, it's your opinion.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: Keep or Sell
If you have a 360, sell the PS3, save the profit to get a PS3 later.
If you want a PS3 sooner than later (with or w/o a 360), keep it for a while--you'll still make profit on a gently used one near Christmas. Don't Rambo the box, wrapping, and manuals!
If you want a Wii, sell it, buy a Gamecube, go back to old-school gaming mannerisms of playing the game while "piloting" the controller. (Kidding!)
If you can wait or don't care for the PS3, then just sell it, pay some bills, buy tickets to a bowl game, whatever.D E S E R V E_V I C T O R YR.I.P. Sean Taylor (1983-2007), a True CaneComment

I'd also get a grip and realize it's a game console, not a cure for world hunger and cancer in a black plastic box.
Take care,

Re: Keep or Sell
Buy low, sell high. It's called business.
If you can get two, buy two and sell them.
The opportunity to make $400+ is much greater than the ability to play a new console when it's initially released.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
How is buying a PS3 with the intent to sell it gambling? I guarantee you that you will make about 100% profit if you buy and sell one. I wouldn't on principal, which is my choice. The poster of this topic asked the question and I answered. I don't care what anyone else chooses to do though.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
Not sure if this has been mentioned or if you already knew this info but Ebay has a new policy that states the seller must ship the goods within 30 days of payment from the buyer.
That might effect some people that, in the past, pre-ordered a system and then sold it on Ebay before they got it.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
I can understand where you are coming from. But is it the sellers fault. Sony should have put out more consoles, then we wouldnt be having these problems. That if you want to call it a problem. Those of us who really want one and isnt welling to pay over 600.00 for one. We're going to have to chill and wait until the maddness is over.Comment

If 2K can actually make a baseball game that is close to the greatness that MLB:The Show is then I'll have no reason to trade in my 360 for a PS3.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
Exactly. Which is why I waited at least a year to buy any of those consoles.
My comment wasn't meant to be a slap on Sony. Just the rediculous craze during new console releases.Comment
