Re: Keep or Sell
Bad karma? Wow, you guys are too serious about that. I bet you have never gambled in any form either. (Raffle tickets, lottery, poker, bingo, bets)
To me, it's just like the stock market. Buy the IPO and sell it when the it becomes more valuable. If somebody wanted a PS3 that badly, then they should have been in line earlier.Comment

How is buying a PS3 with the intent to sell it gambling? I guarantee you that you will make about 100% profit if you buy and sell one. I wouldn't on principal, which is my choice. The poster of this topic asked the question and I answered. I don't care what anyone else chooses to do though.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
Even though I'm generally against it, if I had a ps3 I would definitely sell it on ebay. If you could somehow get more than one you could make a small fortune, especially if you put it up around Christmas like a couple guys have said on here.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
I plan on taking advantage of the Lemmings. I just checked the current PS3 pre launch prices and they are averaging around $1,800. Damn straight i'm selling as soon as I get it on Nov 17th.
Now if we can just get Sony to start hyping it up more and talk about shortages it will make me very happy.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
I could say the same thing about ticket scalpers. The Canucks reserved a certain amount of seats for families to selected games on family nights. The scalpers bought most of the seats to flip them around for a profit. This forced
the Canucks to change their policy. Now you must pick up the tickets at the box office and you have to have a child with you.
Now if I find out PS3's sell for over $1500+ on ebay, I need to get my hands on a couple of them to sell them for a profit.... I Keed I KeedLast edited by VanCitySportsGuy; 10-11-2006, 11:10 PM.Comment

Re: Keep or Sell
I understand it's supply and demand but it doesn't mean it's right. How would you feel if you really wanted a PS3 at launch but found out a lot of them were sold to people who only intend to flip it around for a large profit?
