    Re: GameCube Essentials

Though Nightfire is underrated. If you want to play all 4, go in this order:

    Agent Under Fire
    Nightfire
    From Russia With Love
    EON

Nightfire and EON are two games that will always be in my collection (XBOX). Agent Under Fire has a few great levels, but it is pretty underwhelming but worth a quick go through. From Russia With Love is good, but no where near the polish of EON. It is amazing it came after. EON is one of the most underrated games of the past 5 years.

Killer 7 is very very different. I have played it for about an hour so far and it is crazy. If you are looking for something different and way out there then pick it up but if you a a conventional gamer then you might not like it.

I watched IGN's video review of the game last night and it does look crazy. I'm mainly looking into this game because I want to know what to expect from Heroes, which is being developed by the same guys.

Excellent. I'm thinking about picking it up again to play on the Wii.

Bump. I dropped by EB Games today and took advantage of their Buy 2 Used games get 1 free deal. I picked up Prince of Persia, Viewtiful Joe, and NBA Street V3.

Anyone know if it's even possible to buy new copies of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest and Metroid Prime 1 and 2 for the Gamecube? Amazon doesn't have them. Couldn't find them at any of my local stores (BB, CC, etc.) either.

They're on eBay and half.com for outrageous prices. I picked up the Zelda Gamecube compilation disc which has the original Zelda, Zelda 2, OoT, and Majora's Mask for $50 brand new. I would say that was a steal considering the other prices people were paying for the same thing.

You got it off of ebay? I don't understand why you can't buy these new anywhere - the Gamecube system is still sold by big-box retailers like Best Buy and CC and by online retailers like Amazon - but they won't sell the systems' best games?

Ocarina of Time: Master Quest is out of print, so thats why none of the retailers have them anymore other than used copies (maybe). The comp. disc I have is actually a promotional disc with all those games on it.

I'm in New York City for the holidays, so I'm thinking of going to the Nintendo Flagship store in midtown to see if they have any of these games....I imagine if they don't have new copies there, then no one will. Has anyone else checked it out?

After that I guess I'll have to just stay on the lookout for used copies.

I have not, but i did hear it was an exact port of the ps2 version, so no graphical upgrades such as with the original or RE:zero

Was one of the first games i got when i purchased my ps1. I loved it, and it scared the crap outta me at several points in the game.

I think its one of the best re's that has been released.
