NYKO Intercooler Damage

I was reading a few posts on some threads over at IGN and a few other sites that some people have been having problems with the Intercooler melting onto their 360. This is kind of scary if you ask me and the dude had to take a butter knife to pry the darn thing off of the 360. I was also reading that there could be an issue with power consumption using this thing.

Never had a problem like that Cman but then again I'm a freak about making sure I have tight electrical connections on all my electronic stuff.

The only problem i've had with both of my 360's is when I use the intercooler. Red flashing lights and grinding sounds near the cooler. So I stopped using the cooler and everythings fine now. Doesnt make sense, but i'm hesitant to use the cooler again.

Got rid of my cooler a while ago. Warranties are the way to go.

I unplugged mine last night, and there were no signs of burning on it. I have made mine was in secure also. After seeing what happened to this guys intercooler, I'm really having second thoughts leaving it on. I promoted this damn thing like it was the "second coming of christ" to help save 360's. I've seen much worse pics on the net also where people's cooler were all black.

I was reading that MS will ask customers first if they had an intercooler when they call about using the warranty.

Here in south florida we can blame it on humidity.

Also, its amazing what a can of spray paint will do, but that is a little ghetto

Yep. After I had a few red light problems because of the Intercooler not connecting securely I took it off.
