I'm almost positive I read something about it at IGN (or some other online site).
I remember it because people were bitching because the game had the same amount of college teams in it as last time.
      I'll try to find it.

If you're a HUGE baseball fan then you have to get a PS3. I'm a big baseball fan but I'm going to gamble on Ben Brinkman pulling the 2K series from the dead.

And if High Def DVD viewing is a must for you, you might want to do some reading on it. There is no clear cut winner thus far. And remember, Microsoft is behing HD-DVD and so is Toshiba. Those two names alone have much greater pull in the industry than Sony and the dozens or so other companies behind Blue Ray.
Also remember that there are reports of massive issues with Sony's hardware thus far. Just recently, during a viewing of the PS3 to online mags, the machine froze up and had severe problems. This was only last week and the console is due to come out in 3 weeks. I sure hope they can figure it out by then.
If you're hell bent on getting a PS3 I would highly suggest waiting until this time next year. By then, they'll be in generation 3 boxes and should have a lot of the quirks beaten out.
If I'm mistaken didn't Brinkman do Live this year? That worked out...2K baseball had ONE good game over the last like 10 years 2K3(WSB 2 on the Saturn prior to 2K3). Plus the game has to be a couple months away from alpha if they want to get the game out in a timely manner, he won't do much anyway.

Now 989 isn't much better, but I think having an extra choice is important because 2K and EA have been really been putting out crappy games themselves. MLB 2K6 told me TT is no better than EA in any way, in fact they might be worse. The sole exception is NBA 2K7, which plays way too much like the xbox versions to get attention from me. Most of the time the current-gen games get the best reviews, that tells you something. If there ever was a need for a first party sports, it's now.

I was talking about how Blue-ray's SPACE could be useful especially for sports games.

How is this something to use for comparison? They will make NBA2k7 and NHL2k7 for PS3 aswell.

One other comparison that was not mentioned, NFL 2k5 is not bc on 360 (although I guess it could someday) whereas PS3 will play the PS2 titles.

You obviously didn't read the previous posts to mine.
The guy said he wanted to buy a PS3 over an Xbox360 because Sony makes the best sports games. I commented that 2K makes a superior game to Sony's and that Wayne Gretzky's hockey is no longer around.
So therefore, only SCEA's baseball game, The Show, would constitute buying a PS3 over an Xbox360.

Please read before you trash someones comments.

I didnt read it through I apologize. I wouldnt consider it trashing, maybe you are over sensitive or something. Either way PS3 = BC, the Show + MLB2k7 and 360 although a good machine has limited BC and 1 baseball game.
