No I am not talking about Kevin Federline! I pre-ordered Gears of War and was all set ot pick it up today and start playing. Well low and behold EB informs me that Fed Ex forgot to put the frieght on their trucks so it is still sitting in the warehouse. AKA I will not be getting it till tomorrow. That goes for all NW (Portland OR) area stores. SO ready to drink now!

I agree. Only reason I had this one pre-ordered was becuase while trading in some stuff I got 20% extra if I put it towards Gears of War. OH well so is life.

Go to Best Buy and Circuit City. Gamestop didnt get them, but those stores did.

Yeah, same here in WA. ST. While I was in there asking about it though a few people came in and got refunds on their preorders because they had found it elsewhere. Then I rushed over to the Best Buy a few blocks away and grabbed the last 2 collectors editions on the shelf (me and my nephew). I wonder how much money Gamestop is lost out on due to this error. I'd be pissed.

How does Epic lose, its not like they will sell less games because of it. Gamespot/EB loses big time though.

Well, the Gamestop my buddy works at isn't getting the bulk of their copies until tomorrow because they had to distribute the ones they got to the surrounding retailers due to the shipping mistake. Doesn't bother me though, cause I have to finish doing a PowerPoint presentation and I still want to use my friend's employee discount to my advantage

The walmart in martinsburg did not have them ,i checked. There was a huge sign saying check in on 11/9/06 for the game: Call of Duty 3 and Gears of war.
