Only 2 Gamestops in Charlotte, NC got there shipment. I'm glad I pre-ordered at one of them. Got it yesterday. Sucks for gamestops around because they are competing with the Walmarts, Best Buys and CC--this can't be good for business and customer relations. Especially people who pre order at these small game stores hoping to get an edge over the bigger stores.

Oh well, life moves on.

No I am not talking about Kevin Federline! I pre-ordered Gears of War and was all set ot pick it up today and start playing. Well low and behold EB informs me that Fed Ex forgot to put the frieght on their trucks so it is still sitting in the warehouse. AKA I will not be getting it till tomorrow. That goes for all NW (Portland OR) area stores. SO ready to drink now!

The same thing happened in Boston. Luckily I was able to go to the local Best Buy and pick up a copy. I used my credit at EB to get Tony Hawk Project 8.

Fed Ex may be in some trouble. I noticed a lot of people that were waiting in line at EB making their way to Best Buy. I know my EB had 130 pre-orders and there is a good chance that they lost close to 1/2 of them.

i was out shopping around yesterday and stopped in EB around 6pm est.. some lil kid (12 or 13) was crying (seriously) b/c my EB didnt get the special edition shipments in lol.. he said "you said it would be here at 7" eb guy " no i told you MAYBE, but now i know it wont be here until tomorrow morning at 10am" i just laughed and laughed and the eb guy said, he was like the 8th person to cry ad moan but the first to actually shed a tear.. his response to that was " i love this job....... sometimes" lmfao...

I wonder if the same thing happened to Gamefly's copies of the game. The release date on their website has moved from 11/8 to 11/9 and now to 11/10. I thought I was in perfect shape to receive the game. Hopefully nothing else ships out ahead of it.

VIRGINIA was screwed yesterday too so I went to Best Buy and bought GOW and COD3 now Im going to eb and buying them there with my preorder credit and returning to best buy to get my money.
