EGM Rumor: MGS4 360

Q, EGM's Rumor Mole said that Konami is having Metal Gear 4:Sons of Libery ported to 360. No links or other info available yet, but i'm sure Flawless and others will be on top of this.

Well I still have to buy a PS3 for FFXIII, GT5, and the new Naughty Dog game (plus the Jason Rubin title).

A blow though, for sure, though the graphics may be a tad crisper on PS3 due to the original development.

And the guys from 1up.com on their podcast also hinted and they feel strongly that we'll see Final Fantasy XIII on the 360 as well. They had a huge debate on exclusivity and it no longer means what it did last gen. Now it's tied to time and content exclusive more than a system exclusive.

The biggest rumor isn't even the MGS one though from EGM. There Mole says MS is trying to buy Capcom. If MS buys Capcom, they get Resident Evil....Dead Rising, etc. That would be the big one.

I was going to post the Capcom rumor last night, but decided not too as the EGM rumors are sometimes true and sometimes false.

kojima and co have already said this game will not fit on a single DVD-9 disk. So the 360 port will have to be released on multiple disks. I thought MS didn't want this to happen yet...

Yeah right, this is laughable...hence the use of a smilie.

While MS was able to get rare and lionhead, capcom is a japanese company. They'd probably commit ritualistic suicide than sell out to an american corporation.

the ps3 sold more on launch day than the 360 did in a year in japan. No way this happens.
