Wii Glitches/Bugs thread
Starts with this...if you are getting these error codes (110213 and 32002), your system is dead. SUCKS!

nintendo is sending replacements. Once you receive it you can then send your messed up console back to them.
Turn around is 3 to 10 days, depending on how late you called during the day.Comment

Re: Wii Glitches/Bugs thread
I have been able to play everything. only thing i cant do is get online to go to the wii shop. Called Nintendo this morning, said i should get the replacement no later than monday. They told me to put the old one in the box and send it back to them.
So i hate the fact the system is not working 'properly' but i can pretty much do everything else, so it really shouldnt be bugging me. I beleive that the console got screwed up after the first firmware update.
I am just glad nintendo is on the ball, and i can keep it until they send me the replacement.Comment

Re: Wii Glitches/Bugs thread
Compared to the other systems, this problem doesn't sound that bad, especially since you can still play your Wii while waiting on your replacement. I guess this is where the SD cards come into play if you have any game saves on there.

Re: Wii Glitches/Bugs thread
Not so much a hardware bug but a packaging mixup. I saw on G4 that the store demo units needed a firmware update from a disk that shipped with the demo units. Well some of the demo units got in the wrong packaging with out the "startup disk" and were shipped to consumersActually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. Re: Wii Glitches/Bugs thread
IMO all three companies are playing with fire with these firmware updates. Microsoft has bricked systems, Sony has bricked systems and now it's Nintendo's turn.
I've built more PC than I care to admit. One thing that always makes a PC modder nervous is messing with the system BIOS. I've bricked my share of motherboards with BIOS updates. Although updates are now easier and more reliable you always take the chance of bricking your motherboard.
Anytime I plan on doing a firmware update I always plug my system into a surge protector or UPS (battery Backup). I suspect this problem will get worse and I feel Sony has the most to lose because they have said updates will be dished out on a regular basis like the PSP.Comment
