The last time I thoroughly enjoyed an EA game was NBA Street Vol. 2.

Although I felt Vol 3 was a better overall game too bad you have to turn off the announcer.

I never did play vol. 3, but I'll pick it up for the Gamecube during my Christmas break. Too bad Jordan isn't in the game, but I'll be happy with Magic.

I bought it at CC for $8.96. I don't know if they have anymore. The gameplay is much tighter than any of the NBA Street. I do agree that Vol. 2 was great but Vol. 3 is even better, IMO.

I was just going to pick up Vol. 2 again, but I noticed Vol. 3 featured a create-a-court feature, plus the Mario squad. I never did catch on with the NFL Street games.

The last great game EA made was Everything or Nothing. Before that, MOH Frontline.

OMG, EON is one of EA's recent best. I bought that game in fact I got it because it was either Gamespot or IGN who compared it to Goldeneye (N64). The game is flat out awesome and I totally forgot about mentioning that game.

I like volume 2 way better than 3. I don't know, something about 2 was just better.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

To this day, I am still shocked that EA made that game. The replayability of some of the levels is off the charts. The New Orleans motorcycle level on the freeway is still one of the Top 10 levels of all-time.

Yes Sir I can believe it and the opening "EON Song" theme is very cool, very James Bond type music.

I thought FIFA and hockey made good strides this year they are catching winning eleven and nhl 2K. Even Madden made some improvements (current gen). Still no 2K5, but getting better.

I don't buy their stuff every year so sometimes I don't notice its just tiny improvements year to year.

Rugby 06, Burnout Revenge, and Battlefield 2 (online) are great games. I gotta give them this and I'm not the biggest EA fan.

Those are good choices and goes to show that the behemoth can sometimes make "good games when it wants to".

The only game I bought was Fight Night on the 360 only because I thought it could only get better in its realism. I was wrong and traded it with my friend. I haven't played it since last Christmas just about. My brother asks for it but I'm in no rush to return it. I'm still trying to beat COD 2 on the highest difficulty. Man, that game is crazy.

I do believe that a lot of people are becoming more informed about game companies and their tendencies. One good medium that I think is helping the fight for originality in this hobby of ours is podcast. Of course, there are a few sites and hosts who are just ball riders to the day they die but there are some good sites out there that are honestly keeping it true to reality. Oh, about the NBA Live 07 delay reviews and things, didn't EA hold back the game from the sites until it was released? That's what I was hearing. The sites weren't able to put up anything because EA held back screenshots and things of that nature. It wasn't necessarily the fault of sites, even though a few of them gave Live a pass. And to think, this year was suppose to be the year of two great giants......
