Believe it or not though this thread has a purpose, haha. I called Microsoft and everything, and there paying for the repair since I bought it on launch, but there making me pay to ship it to them. I thought they were supposed to send me a box for me to put it in, that had pre-paid postage on it. Then I just sent it back to them. Instead the "agent" told me to find any box it would fit in and sent it to an address that they gave me. Is this how its supposed to work? Or was the "agent" wrong?

BITTERSWEET.
So today was very interesting. I finally locked up a Wii for christmas which felt really nice. Seeing I really wanna surprise my little brother with it and all. Then when I got home from work, my 360 has finally decided to die.

Mine wasn't a paid warranty though. I just was under warranty cause I bought a launch system.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Re: BITTERSWEET.
Darn is because I keep hearing how launch systems are dying week by week. I'm scared because I have a launch system and the timing is just taking too long. I hope it lasts forever but I'm not sure it will. Definitely hoping that it holds up until I get a more solid job. Good thing I still have the original box. By the way, what is the deal with those who bought the warranties from EBgames and Gamestop?? Do those people get an extension?Comment

Re: BITTERSWEET.
My plan is to wait until the 360's with the new processors come out and ship mine in for "repair." Maybe I can score a new one. I have only had 4, maybe 5 freezes.University of Evansville Graduate

Re: BITTERSWEET.
I was trying to figure out how I could do that for my system too even if I don't have the warranty. I want to get a new processor but I don't know if I'll have the money to fool around. I'm a cheap skate somewhat. I don't know if I want to send in my box though. Would be like they're ripping me off. They could reuse it for a system.
