360 off of ebay

im currently the highest bidder on one...inc shipping i'll pay like 355. which is decent i guess. im worried about teh warranty situation now...should i just flake out of the bid and get one from bestbuy with their plans? any suggestions?

I don't know why anyone wouldn't jump on the EB Games deal. The one year free warranty plus the game is well worth it in my opinion.

I would go with the EB Games deal w/ 1 yr warranty. Are you buying a new 360 or used?

Definately go with the EB/GameStop deal, brand new premium 360 w/1 year warranty for $420.

if he's buying new, there no need to buy any stores warranty, when MS now extened there 90 day warranty to 1 year.

For $49 bucks, you won't have to wait on MS to get you a cheap box, and return it to them. Only to get back someone else's broken (fixed) Xbox 360.

I went through MS twice, first time I got a refurb that had a cracked casing. As you can tell, it didn't last long. Then went through another, before finally selling the refurb I got back from MS. And went to GameStop and got the new 360 w/warranty.

Interesting...i was thinking bout gamestop/eb but i dont wanna pay +400 for it u know? i have like 100 worth of best buy gift cards...u think they'll pricematch their deal?

Well if you win the bid on eBay at $355, by the time you add in shipping you're pushing $400. But if you have $100 in BB giftcards, use them. I believe they offer a 2 year warranty for $39-$49. I believe you have to mail in your Xbox 360, and they'll send you a gift card for the price of the Xbox 360.

Although I've heard some people that were able to go into Best Buy, and exchange the system right then, and there.

hmmm well right now im winning a 360 with nba 2k7 inc for 385 including shipping. not bad.
But which store do u guys prefer warranty? bestbuy? circuitcity? i want a place that u could just bring it in and get a new one, but thats wishful thinking on my part isnt it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only store that has a warranty like that is GameStop/EB Games. Personally I have the GameStop warranty, and can return it anytime during the year to exchange it for a new one.

yeah it is, because if your buying it off ebay and not getting a recipt, your out of luck.

Guys I need some clarification on this EB/GAMESTOP Warranty. My step-son brought a 360 from GAMESTOP earlier this evening. Should he have gotten this FREE 1 YR Warranty thing from GAMESTOP?
