Does anyone know where I can find one of these?

I'm looking for a dirt cheap Ethernet to USB connector. I want to use it for my new Nintendo system but I don't want to pay $39.99 which is what NInty is asking.

Can someone recommend an online store that specializes in this sort of stuff or maybe a Brick and Mortar company.

    Thanks

Definately get a Wireless router. Just make sure you check out Xbox.com to make sure the one you're buying is compatible.

Yeah man wireless router. I was in the same boat and just bought the Linksys Wireless router 49.99 at Radio Shack. Works like a charm.

Well I got bad news the Wii does not support a USB Ethernet device. I guess I won't be going online after all. Why couldn't Nintendo put a Ethernet connector on the unit like Sony and Microsoft. It's not like they're losing money on this machine.....sheez.

The reason i'm not going wireless is because of several reasons. A wired connection gives the best signal with almost no errors. If I decided to go Wireless i'd need to buy a Wireless Router, a $100 wireless adapter for my 360 and an airport card for my Mac and a couple of other devices. It's not worth the hassle to me just so I can hook up the Wii online. Hopefully Nintendo will release a device so you can run it hard wired connection.

I've been wireless for 4 years now, I see no difference in speed what so ever. My 360 and PS3 are both hardwired as the router sits behind my TV.

I'm just not really interested in wireless, tbh. All the system needed was a ethernet connector and that would been it, problem solved. I emailed Nintendo and i'll see if they have an answer. I just can't see the machine only connecting via Wi-Fi, that would be pretty daft if you ask me.

Guys you know the easiest way to get the Wii online?

The way I am doing it... with the official Nintendo DS Wi-Fi usb adapter.

Cheap as chips and works great!

THIS will work but I would still go wireless. Also the wirelss routers also have 4 wired port so really you wouldn't need the 360 adaptor.

I've been wireless for well over 2 years now, and I didn't notice any slowdown. Whether I'm on the computer, or on my Xbox 360 using its wireless adapter.

I'm confused, where does it get the signal from it says USB Wi-Fi Connector? All I have is a Broadband cable modem which I connect my systems individually when I want to go online.

Well thanks for the credit Skyboxer, just posting exactly what I posted right above you...

Anyway Rodster, you plug this into your usb port on your pc that's currently online and it talks to your Wii (or DS) to get it online. Took 2 minutes to setup and works great.

WTF?? Didn't read your post. Read his and posted link to a part I've known about as I was going to get one a while back before I got wireless. Sorry...
