I played today and had no problems with 50 players in the village.

I really like this game, but feel it's going to get lost in the Halo 3/ R6V2/ COD4/ GTA4/ Battlefield shuffle. I know they are all slightly different in their target audience and gameplay style, but I guess I just see this game getting overlooked.

And with the lag/ server issues it seems there will never be a smooth enough experience to actually hold peoples interest.

I also think the majority of people don't understand the multiplayer objective style, and resort to deathmatch- which ruins the gameplay aspects it was built upon.

Your right AM SON. I think if you want a long term investment with this game, get it for PC. I bet there will be some cool mods for it.

I am not getting any lag in the dedicated servers. Player hosted games with the max 16 can be laggy.

I agree with ya there- the modding for this game should be very interesting.
However, I'm a MacBook user, so there's no gaming for me, haha!
I'm fine with the console version, but I think the 360's definitely still living up to its "FPS Console" reputation- there's just too many shooters to go around I think- the carrying capacity has been long ago overrun.

very true AM son. I already traded this in because I'm playing other better shooters. COD4, R6VEGAS2, as well as the battlefield beta.

Five new maps are on the way.

The first one with some new vehicles and weapon is now on the 360 marketplace.

                It's FREE!

About 2 months too late. Unfortunate because this game has some great ideas with it's multiplayer and its single player was short but fun had some thought to it.

it was good. It only lasted about 6 hours but it made you use all of the toys that multiplayer had. Also, the story about future resource based wars is something that makes you think about what may happen if we run out of oil in the future. You only play as the US/EU side. It worth getting if you can get it for less than 60 bucks.

The other four maps that are coming are also supposed to be free. This may be why they are releasing one at a time, to avoid cost.

With the new update, now all maps can have 50 players. (Before there was just one 50 player map: Village).

"Along with the increased player count for all available maps, the title update includes several new features based on fan requests that Kaos studios fulfilled. These include a new spawn protection system, as well as expanded voice-over-IP communications, which includes squad to squad chat, proximity, and inter-vehicle communication, for all 50 players."

I liked it, good game, but the online community dried up rather quickly, and single player was boring to me (there just wasn't any reason to keep playing, even for achievements ). Beating the game was 15 achievement points I believe. LOL

But the game was awesome online when you had the big games, I loved it, felt epic at times. With Battlefield Bad Company out now, Frontlines is done for me.

15 points per level, total of around 135 or so..pretty pathetic. Most of the achievements were for online, or speed runs.

Yeah, I played one level in single player, and online for weeks, and I have 420 points. I thought it was funny that getting 5 straight kills in multiplayer was 100 points I believe, but beating the entire game was 135 points. Usually every game gives you a point total on beating the game or higher for the last mission. I laughed when I saw the last mission was 15 points and said to myself that I'll just play online. (which was great, that is until Battlefield dropped this week)

                                New Conquer mode

"The new mode opens up the multiplayer maps considerably, offering up objective capture in any order on existing maps, which includes the downloadable ones, too. You can’t capture main bases, though, and the vehicles have also been adjusted in an attempt to make the new mode more fun.

The downloadable content has so far gone live on Xbox 360"
