I've tried to beat Kazdan Paraxis(?) or whatever his name is about 20 times now. It has gone from fun to frustrating. I'm coming to regret this purchase and starting to think maybe the reviews are on to something. I play games for fun, not to get freakin' pissed off. How in the crap do you beat this guy?

I bumped down the difficulty to the medium one. It was frustrating...I would be dead and would have knocked about 1/10 of his power off. I have no clue how to beat him on Sith Lord.

Gotta say I love the game though. Don't regret buying it all. Every time I lightening a Jawa with the theme going in the background brings a smile to my face.

That guy was a pain in the ***, took me 5 trys to beat him. Use lightning and force grab. I would toss him, then bolt him, then attack, rinse/repeat.

I'll go ahead and say that I'm lame. I guess I'll have to lower the difficulty to easy. You would think after years of gaming I would get better, but my 40-year-old reflexes are letting me down. The battle with Kazdan is definitely cool, but I would still like to punch one of the devs right in the nose. There's so much that is great about this game, but there's a lot about it that is mind-boggling as to why they did things the way they did.

I thought Kazdan was one of the easier bosses to beat once you get his routine down. I thoroughly victimized him on Sith Lord difficulty using my leveled up character from the forst playthrough. Just gotta get him with lightning and keep moving. You can tell right off the bat when you connect with him with lightning (sometimes he's able to block it). I always wait to attack until my force meter is maxed so that I can just lay it on until my bar is depleted, then I just move around unitl it's maxed again. I don't even bother with Grip. Same thing when he turns into the Big Thing. Zap him with lightning and stay on the move. When you get to the part where he moves far away and flings objects at you just give a tap on the grip button (RT) and deflect it. Rinse, recylce, repeat until you get your QTE finishing move.

Hmm. It may take you longer then, but the strategy should still work. I have my lightning maxed out at this point so it does a fair amont of damage. I'm sure other approaches will work. The key is still finding a force attack that works and keeping your distance when the meter is re-charging or playing good block defense when he gets close with his lightsaber attacks.

Has anyone found, or know how to unlock the light saber crystal that has the black core with the purple edging?

OK, I thought lightning just froze him in place. I only have the first level of lightning and it doesn't seem to do much damage at all.

I also only had the first level of lightning when I fought him. The way I did it was to hit him with a bolt, then get two slashes in, then hit your block button because he will come out of that defense with a pretty damaging hit. Just keep moving and hitting him with lightening and getting in for close combat. Try getting some saber slash combos in on him.

Finally, when he starts throwing stuff at you, don't just deflect it, fling it right back at him. It does considerable damage.

It actually makes for a more fun fight I think since you have to use a lot of close combat. Block then slash. Makes it feel like a real fight. Went on for like ten minutes, which totally makes this game worth it.

If I remember right from the video it's on the Death Star level. I just started that one and plan on snagging the crystal.

By the way, those that think Kazdan was tough...

...just wait until you have to face the Bull Rancor and Maris Brood at the same time. That's by far been the toughest boss battle I've come across so far. Took me a while. I was beyond frustrated trying to beat them.

How do I pull down the star destroyer using my force? I keep getting to the part where all I have to do is pull down, but the tie fighters own me before I can finish it.

How long did it take ya'll to pull down the Star Destroyer? It's taking me a long time just to turn it around to where it's at the point where it's pointing down.

It's on the Death Star level when you activate the gravity rings. It's at the very top level on top of one of the laser housings.

I actually don't like the looks of it but it's cool to have I suppose.

So far I think the game is great, except for the sometime bad camera angle. I have noticed a few glitches, but what game doesn't have glitches. I am one level away from beating the game the first time and have maxed out all my force combos, almost all my force talents and powers. Up to the point I have found all the holocrons and did all the other side objectives, so I can make my guy as powerful as possible. I do have a question if anyone knows the answer. I have read that the game can have multiple outcomes depending on your decisions throughout the game. Does anyone know anymore about that? What decisions? All I have seen is a possibility of two endings, from reading this thread, either a light or dark path. Is it just going to come down to a decision I will have to make in the last board?

I am still floored by this story for SWFU and continue to think what a cool movie that they could make out this. Both the story from this one here and Shadows of the Empire were great. I would love for a Shadows remake on this gen consoles.
