got the pirates pack this evening. but somehow i unlocked the salty dog trophy (complete 20 levels with water). this must be a glitch, as i only beat like 2 with water in them. wondering if this happened to anyone else

Kev, I tried joining up with you and Ryan last night went you invited me, but it kept me on the level I was playing and eventually timed out. I did not play much longer afterwards so I decided to not try to join with you guys again.

How are the Pirate levels? I downloaded them last night before I went to bed, but have not played them yet.

How are the Pirate levels? I downloaded them last night before I went to bed, but have not played them yet.

The Pirate levels are pretty easy. I aced each one on my second play through. There's one level with a 2x bubble spot and one with a 4x spot. The water stuff in them is fun, there's a lot of swimming underwater. The Kraken boss at the end is pretty fun too.

I just got the game yesterday. I really do not know to much about the game but how much do the pirate levels cost?

I believe the levels were $5.99 and the costume pack was another 5 or 6. I like the Pirate ones because the water is new and I like the movies, but IMO the Metal Gear levels are more fun (you get a gun! LOL)

Debating Picking this Up again. Wal-Mart has the GOTY edition on sale.

I only played through this game once before it was even released with an early copy, which meant the servers for sharing weren't up yet.

How would you guys rate the game now compared to how it was back then?

I didn't play the game much early on, but runs smooth now. There is some lag when you are first joining a level, but runs smooth once the connection is made.

There's lots of DLC out for the game, mostly costumes. But there are some level making content to buy plus some extra level packages.

This was the same reason why I gave up on it when the game when it first released since the online portion was so messed up. I hope to get this again soon.

Finally got around to getting the water patch and trying some user-made water levels and... WOW!!

A free add-on? Amazing!!!

I played a brilliant water temple level that is worthy of being a proper level and a cool race where someone built a nice jet-ski and even though it was just a simple left to right stage, racing on the beautiful new water was fun!!

I'm going to get back into making levels again!

This game will be playable and popular 5 years from now, I love it!

Also love that user made levels called (and based on) Lego, Mario, Sonic, Assassins Creed, Uncharted etc have not been deleted and banned. Great stuff!!

The Metal Gear levels are definitely worth it, and the Pirate ones are fun too since that's the only place you get water levels so far (other than user created ones). There are some real fun user levels out there like this awesome Pitfall one and a Ghostbusters level.
