How is anyone here supposed to know?Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Fable 2
It has cool offline co-op, and the rumor is that it'll be co-op via Live, which would be pretty damn cool. Maybe at E3 that'll be announced.
It's hard to say if it's better than Oblivion until we play...Fable 1 was great but fell short of his dream, I've got to play Fable 2 before passing any sort of judgment. I believe that Molyneux has gotten closer to his vision now, but I still need to see it with my own eyesNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Fable 2
This is kinda shocking coming from you, DC. Unless I'm mistaken, you usually have a pretty good head about not judging something until it's out. There's no good answer for that question.Comment

Re: Fable 2
Well in preparation for 2 I finally finished the main quest in The Lost Chapters and will be finishing that shortly.
Fable really is a good game that should be played. It has solid game play and clever writing and I'm sure this one will as well.XBL: Countach

Pre-E3 2008: Fable II Pub Games Hands-On
The original Fable sold more than three million copies on Xbox. Many of those who purchased the game were keenly aware of one glaring omission -- there were no casino-style games. Fortunately, Peter Molyneux and crew are remedying this oversight for the sequel with Fable II Pub Games. The XBLA title, set to arrive in August, offers three gambling mini-games to suck away your time (and your characters' cash) until Fable II hits stores later in the year. Here's the cool thing: the money and items earned in Pub Games carries over into Fable II, meaning you can amass a fortune this summer and buy all of Albion in the fall.
Fable II Pub Games can either be played with your Fable II hero or with one of a half-dozen regular pub crawlers. The catch is that until you own Fable II, you're not going to have a hero to call your own. So when you download Pub Games in August, you have no choice but to pick one of the pre-made characters. It doesn't matter who you choose -- it's just a name and a snazzy piece of concept art. Consider this character a surrogate for your future Fable II hero. They are just there to earn cash and items for the real star of the show.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
Yes, the final big feature will be revealed at E3. I'm guessing online co-op, since Molyneux has said in several interviews during GDC that he couldn't tell people the whole story about co-op in Fable 2.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Fable 2 dev blog- Good and Evil expanded. There are four traits to consider now, with purity/corruption and kindness/cruelty determining your overall character. One example cited is a beautiful girl who is about to be stricken by a curse of terrible scars - do you save her by taking on this curse yourself?
- Decisions change appearance. Those stained by corruption will find their teeth turning crooked and yellow, to give one example.
- No HUD. In an effort to streamline the experience as much as possible, Fable 2 won't have a HUD.
- No cutscenes. Non-interactive cinematics take up less than five minutes of game time.
- No more bumpkins. The voice acting has been kicked up a couple of notches, as Fable 2 moves away from the country bumpkin speak of its predecessor. Stephen Fry is one of the confirmed voice actors.
- Magic spells revealed. Inferno, Time Control, Magic Blades, Raise Dead and Force Push are some of the spells you'll be able to use.
What is the point? Oh yeah! E3, next week. A lot is going to be happening. You'll just have to wait and see what exactly, but if any of you say "this wasn't worth it" I will chase you and burn down your house. Sic.
Tomorrow I'm getting on a plane together with Peter and a couple of other people to make our way to Los Angeles and E3, showing Fable 2 and YES the game will be playable on the floor. Pretty scary but cool nonetheless.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
