I think that it would be fun as hell, I bet that we do see one eventually. The last G.I. Joe games that I remember playing were on the NES and those were really fun.

        destructive?

LOL...those guys were the only military and terrorist specialists that shot more lasers than Star Wars and never hit one person.

They did blow up alot of vehicles and stuff though. It would be pretty awesome the kind of team you could assemble.

Talking about a sick online experience.

I beat the game as the Autobots this afternoon. Does anyone know what the difference is if you play as the Decepticons afterwards?

Is it the same levels except from the Decepticon point of view?

This is not that long of a game.

I would say that it took me about 5-6 hours to beat the Autobots campaign. I'm on the Decepticons campaign mode, at the last boss, it is such a pain in the ***. The Decepticons missions are much more fun than the Autobots, tons more destruction. I would say the Decepticons took me about 3-4 hours to play through.

If you can rent the game, I would recommend it before spending the $60.

Yes, its a good game and the reviews should have been around a 7 imo. I really wish they would have taken some of the gameplay mechanics from the PS2 version Armada and incorporated in this game. I think that there is tons of potential with this game engine to make another Transformers game in a year or two. I laugh how they said the graphics looked like it was a high res PS2 game, they have no clue what they are talking about.

One thing is all the destruction, not even a hiccup in the framerate.

                      Re: Transformers: The Game

This movie was great as I posted in the Ent forum, and now I'm even more upset with the way that the game was put together. There was so much in the movie that was left out from the game that is just baffling. I guess its the case of a rush job to get it out before the movie releases to cash in.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the game was good for a Transformers game with flaws.....but I'm left a bit disappointed. I guess we will wait and see how things pan out with another game release hopefully next year or the following.

Anyone that bought the Coll. Ed., what was up with the 2 extra Cybertron levels that were added?

                          Re: Transformers: The Game

Did anyone buy this game for the PC? The only two systems (Cube and Xbox) that it didn't come out for are the ones I own. The PC version is only $20 at Target, so I figure it's worth a shot if my laptop can handle it.
I did a systems requirements lab test and I passed the minimum, but failed the recommended. Anybody know whether I'll be able to play the game on my laptop?
                          My specs:

                          2 ghz CPU, 512mb ram, and 128mb video card (Radeon™ Xpress 200M).

My PC has 3 ghz and 512mb, but it would need a new video card to meet the minimum.
