That sounds odd. The two times I emailed with questions I got a response from the owner within hours.

I've taken advantage of some great deals there. Got Halo for $40, Mass Effect pre-ordered for $40, COD4 preordered for $38 after trading in Tetris Revolution. Just pre-ordered Super Smash Bros. Brawl for $38.

I pre-ordered Madden 08 there and was going to cancel the order and pick it up locally. The game had not shipped yet. I sent them an email and was told I can not cancel an order once it was placed and I would have to wait until the game shipped and refuse delivery when it came. I ended up keeping it.

I would order from them again. Shipping was quick and they do have nice deals on preorders as mentioned earlier is this thread. Just thought it was odd that you can not cancel an order when any other online merchant would let you.

I just pre-ordered Call of Duty 4, Kane and Lynch, and Assasin's Creed through LionGames.com. I paid for Priority Shipping, so I'm thinking I should have the game 2 days after it releases. Saving the kind of money I did, I can definately live with that.

I traded APF2k8 in for $30 bucks, which is quite a bargain considering it can be found for $20 at most stores. There was also a personal note from them with my order. I really hope they are able to survive in this endeavor and keep his same great deals. I would definitely suggest this to anyone looking to trade games and buy new games.

$30? It's listed near $20 for sale on the site. When looking at their value chart, APF is $5 trade in. even Ace combat 6 only gets you $27. How do you get more? I looked on their site for some trade in values of the games I never play, which look worse than ebgames, even though they only have a few in stock for the vast majority of their used games.

Some trades will get you more than EB/Gamestop. Some not. Gamestop said $10 for Vegas, Liongames gives $15. The key is to hit one of the trade in specials that can take another $12 or more off the price of an upcoming game.
I just traded in Halo3 at Liongames for $30, the same I'd get at Gamestop. But I made out OK since I put that towards a used PGR4 at Liongames for $40. Gamestop sells PGR4 used for $55.

just doesn't seem like such a deal. I know ebgames rips people off, since their B&M and can do it by sheer volume. This site seems newer, and has such an apparent low stock of games, that you'd think they' want to stock up and eat the cost early.

They have like 1 or 2 used copies of each game they list, supposedly.

It was for the PS3, and I got $30. With my other trades I got COD4 for free with a check for $10.50.

Liongames is "eating the cost" on the new release deals, like Mass Effect for $40, WWE SvR for $45, etc., to get the word out. Hoping the customers will pick up some used games too so they can keep offering the new release specials.
