Guitar Hero 3

I knew it was a smart decision to not buy Guitar Hero 2 because Guitar Hero 3 was going to be a lot better and coming soon.

It will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2, arriving in stores just before the end of year holidays. There will also be a Nintendo DS version of the series, which will arrive "early next year."

The latest game will also boast new wireless controllers.

There will also be a variety of colours and a new design for the guitar controllers, along with some higher-end options made to look and feel more like real guitars.

Guitar Hero III will also feature strong online elements. There will be both cooperative and competitive online modes, along with extra downloadable content.

I will be getting my $90 dollar's worth and then some over the next eight months. A bad decision for me would be to wait that long instead of playing an amazing game that is already out... To each their own I guess.

I knew it was a smart decision to get GH 2, play the crap out of it, get more than my $70 worth (which I already have), keep it, buy GH 3 in the fall, and then always have access to well over 120 songs awesome songs between the two flawless versions.

I read on IGN that they will be using the regular guitar controller for the Wii version, but I wonder if they will design any part of it with the Wii remote in mind.

Serioulsy cant wait for this game though. Hopefully we'll hear about some songs soon.

i hope this doesnt prevent some great new songs from hitting the marketplace for GH2...

although im almost POSITIVE that any good new songs they have will be featured on a full version game....

of course if they continue selling them at 500 pts for 3 songs, they'll make more money on the marketplace... since that same song seems to cost 43 MS points on a full featured game.
