The game should be coming out Sunday. I asked GS and they confirmed that they will have it Sunday.

Also Walmart has a display that it will have it Sunday as well.

EG, it releases Sunday and many places like Gamestop and Best Buy are doing midnight openings Sunday 12:01 am.

Really? Cool. I just saw the shipping date of 10/28 and assumed it was monday. That's cool that I can go get it Sunday morning.

EDIT -cool, my local Best Buy is opening at midnight. Nothing about Gamestop opening at midnight though.

The notes seem to be ahead of the song by just that much, if that makes sense. Like... it seems like we have to strum a split-second earlier than the song in order for it to look like we're not late on the notes.

Hopefully it's just the transition from his game to YouTube and the video is slightly delayed.

The demo is fine. I'd chalk it up to youtube and wouldn't worry about it.

Yup, I didn't know this until yesterday when I was on IGN and they were talking about the midnight release. I can't wait to play this next Sunday......who knows, it might turn up early at some places.

I was reading in the OXM review that this game is harder than the first two, which is plainly stupid of them doing that. You want to make this type of game as accessible as possible.

Again, I'm not talking about the note charts being hard. They just don't look fun. A lot of them contain multiple repetitive one-note hits for far too long, and they all just put Misirlou to shame (and actually make it look easy... those kinds of things aren't hard, but meanwhile, they get boring). Also, too many three-button chords, like I said earlier... especially in unnecessary places. I just think that this version is a complete mess.

There is even something with the fretboard and the notes that I can't put my finger on, but they look very messy as well. I think it was Black Magic Woman that I was watching, but anyway, the notes were well off the frets a lot of times and just looked like a lazy slop slapped some notes on there and called it a masterpiece. It's just something about the entire artwork that makes me think Guitar Hero 4 will be where Guitar Hero 3 should have been with Harmonix.


And to think that I turned down that note chart job interview from Neversoft. Maybe next time I won't be so hesitant and I'll take it.

There are only 2 BB in Arkansas that are going to be open at Midnight and they are both in Fayetteville, a college town, boo. They need to be schoolin' instead of rockin'.

I am totally nerding out and getting GH at the Midnight Launch.

Don't care about playing it that night, but I want to have it right when I wake up early before the NFL starts.

I like this track list a lot more than Rock Band. But I can see both sides of that.

So one thing I haven't heard about this Wii version is downloadable content. Are Wii users going to be able to download more songs?

Edit: here's another question. Is there any way to skip songs as you play, or do you have to do them all? Because I'd rather pull my own teeth than have to play "Take this Life" by In Flames
