The 2 BB's for IL, I just don't feel like traveling that far........are all Gamestop's going to have a midnight launch or is it a select few?

I haven't heard of any having midnight openings. Gamestop that is.

Thanks EG, when I get back into town I'll have to call and find out if they are going to be doing something. I guess I can wait till Sunday morning, we have waited this long. LOL!

There are only 2 BB in Arkansas that are going to be open at Midnight and they are both in Fayetteville, a college town, boo. They need to be schoolin' instead of rockin'.

We don't need no education.

I'm picking it up at Midnight Saturday along with a big bottle of the Captain, and a 2 liter of Coke. I'll be partying like a rock star Saturday night.

I can't believe how much fun this game is.

One thing...when I finish and go back to the menu...the menu looks as if it's scrolling.

Does that happen to anyone else?

LOL, same happens to me. After playing, if I look around the room, everything is moving.

LOL! Perfectly normal. Prolonged playing of the GH series is known to do that. Freaked me out the first time.

Don't know how safe it is to play this game long term actually. lol. But it sure is fun!

After not playing GH II (I know I suck) I am jonsing to pick it up, although with GH III around the corner, I might as well wait and get the wireless guitar. Would be nice to play the demo though.

I picked it up yesterday at the new Target in Romeoville, IL. I was shopping with my wife and daughter and kind of strayed over to the videogames section (you married guys know how that is) and was shocked to see the PS2 version there. I went on the other side to the 360 games and they had that one as well. The funny thing is they had a tv showing games and Guitar Hero 3 came up and it said "Available on Octover 28th" on the bottom of the screen. I don't know if all Targets are selling or if I just got lucky because the store just opened this past weekend but it's worth a shot checking your local Target.

As for the game, if you loved GH1 and GH2 I don't see how you won't love this game. Spanish Castle Magic and Pride and Joy are standouts so far for me. I haven't finished the game on hard yet but have made it to the seventh of eight playlists.
