Re: Fallout 3
Can anyone help me with this? I use VATS a lot, but how come it takes me 4-6 or sometimes more to kill something? Such as a dog, fireant, raider etc? If I shoot something 4 times in the head shouldnt it die? Or am I using the vats system wrong? I'm always low on ammo because it takes me so many shots to kill.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: Fallout 3
When I first bought the game I played it for about an hour and got interrupted and had to turn it off. Nothing really jumped out and wowed me in that first hour, and I didn't end up giving the game another chance for another week or two. The next time I played I ended up putting a solid three hours or so into it and really became immersed in it.Now, more than everComment

Re: Fallout 3
Yeah... you barely even get out of the vault in an hour..Comment

Re: Fallout 3
I never played this type of game before - I always played sports/driving game & Command & Conquer. The first hour wasn't impressive in the vault but once you are out and start exploring (and finishing a couple quests), you'll get more and more into it. I've searched almost every square inch of the map, got to level 20, and finished twice. I'm waiting on my XB to get fixed (again) and when I get it back, I plan on playing Broken Steel, then the Pitt to get extra XP. Then back into the wastes for a little more walkabout.
The thing that amazes me is the depth and the variety of this game, best summed up in three words "Best. Game. Ever." Hands Down.......Can't wait for the sequel......Keep playing, you will not be disappointed.MM Refugee....Comment

Re: Fallout 3
The first time I tried it I compared it to FPS and couldn't enjoy it, when I realized how cool VATS was and the graphics and the variety and the sneak attacks (I love small weapons and sneaking) and the searching I just fell in love with this friggin gameComment

Re: Fallout 3
do you have to replay the last mission? I'm just curious about the transition. I beat the game, but since you can't continue, the last save spot is from before that point.Last edited by bkfount; 05-05-2009, 11:41 AM.Comment
