Can anyone confirm this or does Dogmeat have to be alive when you get the perk?
Dogmeant can be dead prior to earning the perk. A puppy with twice the health of Dogmeat replaces him and can usually be found at vault 101.

Raiders will always attack you. However, the mercs specifically attack you if your karma was ever good, while regulators only attack you if you've ever been evil. If you have been both good and evil during the game, the you'll be attacked by both.

I am playing as evil, and thought it would be fun to do the hitman perk. I have killed certain people and need to take their ears to the buyers. The note says in the scrapyard and I am at the marker on the map, I have found Dogmeat but have no idea where these people might be.

There is a little shack somewhere in the junkyard, took me ages to find it as well. The easiest way is to fast travel somewhere else then fast travel back and you should be right next to the shack door. Hope that helps.

Point Lookout Coming to Fallout 3 Tuesday

Bethesda tossed up a post on their official blog today, setting a firm release date for Fallout 3's upcoming Point Lookout DLC. Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Live users should be able to start trudging through the mutant-infested swamplands of Point Lookout next Tuesday, June 23, for a fee of 800 Microsoft points ($10).

Less patient gamers are already reporting finding download tokens for the DLC at GameStop, but the developers assured Kotaku that these early codes will not work until the content is actually released next week.

Planning on hopping back on the Fallout 3 train with Point Lookout? Or have you finally given up on the Capitol Wasteland and its woeful denizens?

I've had this game since Xmas, but I just started getting into it. I cut back on my gaming quite a bit and was only playing SF4 and Rock Band 2. I DLed project Anchorage and started a new file where I'm doing that first. Love it.

Eurogamer: Point Lookout Review - 8

Each and every part of Point Lookout is both challenging and interesting, and you come away with the impression that Bethesda's quality control has tightened up over the course of the year. As a whole, Point Lookout hangs together better than any previous Fallout 3 DLC pack, and as such comes highly recommended - yes, even for those of you who have grown weary of endless wasteland scavenging and VATS combat. With this release proving how entertaining a "mini expansion" can be, hopes are now riding high that next month's Mothership Zeta episode can continue the good work.

Prior to starting The Pitt I had Fawkes and Charon all in a party (Dogmeat died) but after that quest when I returned to The Museum Of History I could only get one to join me at a time. I tried the trick where you make one wait in another room and ask the other to join but it didn't work. I also tried to fire one and then get the other to join and tried again but no luck.

Does anyone know how I can get these two back in my party at the same time? I'm playing on the 360 and have very high good karma.

                      Re: Fallout 3

I highly recommend Point Lookout if you haven't already got it. There are 5 story-related quests along with 5 side quests and the region is quite large. It took me 4-5 hours to beat the story of this DLC and its taken me another 4-5 hours to find and beat 4 of the side quests (still yet to find the last one).

The new weapons i've come across have really just been weaker variations of standard guns...that's really my only disappointment about this 4th DLC. But these weapons do at least suit the environment of Point Lookout.

Just be warned that Feral Ghoul Reavers are still around...

                        I hate those guys..

Thanks for the warning though, although I figure they'll be around more if you're a higher level now that they've been put into the game. Their debut in Broken Steel was quite harsh. They eat shots from the alien blaster like it's nothing and go into a "fit" which is a bug. I also broke my lincoln repeater and ran out of .44 ammo finishing them off. I'll just wear the ghoul mask next time.

It is funny seeing the Albino Radscorpion kill the hell out of NPC's though.

So I finished The Pitt, and it actually had probably the best morality choice at the end. I loved how you find out it's a lot more than just killing douchebag slavers and helping the oppressed people. I really wasn't expecting that.

I don't get what's going on here. I downloaded Broken Steel before the last battle (it was finished) and the game ends for me like it did the 1st time I beat it. The download is showing up on the DL content, and is on my hard drive, but it keeps ending and not loading the Broken Steel content. I have a save outside the Jefferson Memorial, and one inside right near the end. The content was downloaded prior to the last battle so it was done in time.

I'm downloading it now again to see if that works but has anyone faced this problem before? All my other DLC's for this game have worked but this.

it still ends much the same way as the original ending. You do your thing, and the narrator does the same final scene, but you wake up later. Are you letting it run through before you figure it doesn't work?

Also, when I did it, I had a save from before the final mission, not during it.
