just played my first round and yeah I like this game a lot. Controls are tight, I like the ranking system, framerate is incredible.

I don't care if it's a "mindless shooter", I can see myself playing this a ton.

EDIT: A shame I have to play during the day with mumbling, heavily accented Brits...can't understand them at all. I guess it's better than smart mouthed punk kids, though.

Guys, I am in a world of RROD hell. How does this game compare to Rainbow 6? Is it safe to say I can trade in Vegas and get this game? I don't have time to play a lot of games, so I like to have 1-3 go tos. APF is my sports crack so far....I saw it described as a mindless shooter, but in what context? Does it have the strategy of Rainbow?

no real "cover" system like in R6.. most games I have played were "run and gun" style... that's why it's "mindless".. you really don't need to think, just survive

I'm actually getting really sucked in, traded in Rainbow Six today, I prefer this now over R6.

sweet...I looooove Rainbow, but I have had it now for 10 months and I think it is time for a new FPS. Im going to sign up for a token as soon as I can , and hope I get my 360 back soon from Ms. SO team strategies are still in play? like flanks and stuff like that I would imagine?

Also..is there anything like Team Sharpshooter where you respawn a lot during the match?

Most randoms will ONLY play Team Deathmatch online in 'Call of Duty' games!

If you play with some OS'ers though, there's a bit more strategy and usually we'll play the objective games...though they aren't all available in the beta.
