So in 2 weeks you're getting it? Matrix comes out 5/22. Heroes is coming out last week of August on HD-DVD.

Nothing like next week for the time. As I posted in the HD-DVD/Blu ray thread, next week CC is giving away 2 free HD-DVD's if you buy the add on, and you still get King Kong free as the pack in. Hell of a deal.

To me, some CE's are a waste of money. I bought Gears of War CE which I don't regret doing so. I did also buy the Lost Planet CE which was a huge waste of money if you ask me. I've only been buying the regular edition's after the Lost Planet CE crap, it's just not worth the extra $10 on some of these. I thought that GOW: CE was well put together and worth the money.

I don't think their worth extra money or even going to be.

I have never bought a CE, I think they are a waste because it seems like they never put anything on there that I am actually interested in. I did however read on the Halo 3 website, that on the Legendary Version, they redmastered all of the cinematics for Halo 1 and 2. I would love to see the Halo 1 cut scenes redone.

I bought Halo 2 CE, because like, that was the in thing to do, no? Then I got SD vs RAW 07 CE, for the same price as the original version. Other than that, CE is overrated.

If you get it for the same price, then I don't consider it a bad deal obviously, I got PDZ's CE for $50, same as the regular edition when it came out.

Halo 2 was the thing to do, cool case, I totally agree with you. And probably would have bought the CE even if I didn't get it early.

I understand it's just a video game,but I'm sure parents said the same about Cracker Jack "c'mon it's just a cracker jack toy" now look at the value of those older toys.
Another example....the original Star Wars figures from the 70's,I'm sure at the time nobody thought those would be worth anything either.
I wish I wouldn't have sold those either,as I had all of them.
I can remember my grandfather buying me the newest one as soon as it was released, although that damn Jawa was the hardest to find.

I guess the point I'm trying to make...we never really know what will or wont be considered valuable or collectible.

I see what you're saying, but it's different generations. Nobody throws their **** away anymore. Cracker jack toys are worth money because not many still exist. A lot were thrown away. We now live in a generation where everything is saved and resold on eBay.

I have a Shaquille O'Neal Fleer Ultra rookie card. When I opened the pack, I immediately saw it and put it into one of those special plastic cases. It was worth $115 then. Now? $15-20, depending on who you ask.

If you bought them at the same price, that is a steal of a deal. That extra $10 is such a waste of money that their charging on these CE's.

The less money I can spend on any game the better. They're already overpriced IMO. Another $10 for a cooler case and some junk is a huge waste.

The only CE I've ever gotten was Halo 2 for the simple fact that it was way better than the regular case which looked like crap. Otherwise the content they put in the CE isn't worth the extra $10 to me because I never even look at it.

I think CE have to be judged on an individual basis and it's also up to what you think paying that extra $10 is worth. A making of video is never worth it for me. I did want the Gears of War CE for the art book and tin case and I want the Bioshock LE for the Big Daddy figurine and soundtrack.

I am getting legendary version of halo 3 for $120 so i probably shouldn't be talking but I really dont get CE of many games unless it is worth it.......only reason I am getting Legendary of Halo 3 is because i am a Halo freak.

Helmet should make a nice Halloween costume. Maybe it's suitable for paintball?
