I rented Darkwatch and it was over the top.

Have this one preordered. Took my pre of Pirates and put it toward this instead. I absolutely LOVE westerns as well. This one was a no brainer for me...

Just got OXM today and they reviewed it. Gave it a 6.0. Says it's a great looking game with tons of gameplay problems. Take it for what it's worth...

I don't know why they gave it such a low score, its one of the better games in the FPS genre I've played in a good while.

Did you play it on the PC?

I think no matter what the reviews are I'm buying this next week. The multiplayer just looks too good to pass up. Here's a preview from IGN with multi stuff in it

I'm picking this game up for sure.

My co-worker and I were talking about some cool things that should be in a western game.
For one, I'd like to see a damage system that allows you to beat someone to a bloody pulp but not kill him. But in that state, say 10% health, he can't do anything but lay there and bleed.
Then you could take a gun to him, or tie him up to the back of your horse and drag him around until he dies. Or hang him.
Imagine playing an online game and you catch someone off guard. You smack them in the back of the head with a beer bottle or the butt of your gun. They're now unconscience or rolling around on the ground in serious pain. You then tie up their hands and legs and rope them to your horse. After this, you make an example of him by dragging him around town embarassing him in front of his buddies or fellow onlookers.

                  Now we're talking.

You've watched too many westerns I think that would cool as well. Teabagging "Old West" style.

Haha, best idea ever. Especially since the other player would just have to sit there and watch his screen, embarassed and helpless, as he's drug around.

LOL! That's what we were thinking. While you and a buddy are sitting on the porch of a saloon enjoying a brew, you're being treated to some poor slob being dragged around town and powerless to do anything about it. Hahaha!

This is a buy for me tomorrow but I doubt I'll get much time on it till Thursday afternoon/night. Anyone else picking it up? I'll try to post impressions on Thursday.
