wow what a difference in the 9.5 to the 7.4 didnt make sense but i didnt like igns review at all the guy really didnt talk about much just seemed like it was personal review didnt talk much about the game. gameinformers seemed like it was like the old riddick which was awesome.

Escape From Butcher Bay is as fun as I remember it..

Will play more tomorrow as I have to get some sleep.

Just got my second achievement on Butcher Bay along with the ability to see in the dark. Pretty fun so far.

i just got the game will play it later tonight i am kinda amazed no one got this game.... ign is the only site that gave this a lower score then all the other ones.....

just got this game .... man i missed it if u liked the first riddick you will love this it doesnt try to do anything more its just seems like a continuation i love the gameplay and i love how you can pick what to say when you talk to people as riddick.... i just shoot down all the lights and its party time from there . people are probably gonna miss out on this game yet AGIAN cuz of the ign reviews which is sad but honestly give this game at least a rental its 2 games in 1

Excellent game. Might be over looked though because of Godfather 2. Remains me of last summer when Bourne Ultimatum was over looked because of Metal Gear Solid 4.

But this and Wheel Man are excellent games. Vin Diseal should make some good change off these 2 games.

Giant Bomb Review - 4/5

The real attraction in this package is the one-two punch of Butcher Bay and Dark Athena, which combined will take you quite a while to complete and offer plenty of value on their own. This game went through some turmoil when previous publisher Vivendi shed some of its projects after the Activision merger, but I'm glad Atari swooped in to save the day and I'm glad the developer took the initiative to revive Butcher Bay and give it such a thorough spit-shine in the first place. The more people who get to find out what made--and still makes--Riddick special, the better.

Even if you were to completely strip out the multi-player options, however, I'd still highly recommend Assault on Dark Athena. With a blend of action, strategy and atmospheric tension that perfectly complements the film series it's drawn from, Dark Athena sets a new standard for games based on films.

Which brings us to the messy clarification of the score. As a product, this package is recommendable to anyone who hasn't experienced the first game, or wishes to add it back to their current library. It also includes a surprisingly fun multiplayer suite, with the Riddick vs. Everyone Else mode "Pitch Black" as the main attraction. But as single-player games, the unsatisfying Dark Athena should be played as a curiosity and then put back where it belongs: in Butcher Bay's shadow.

seems like the game isnt doing to hot in sales which might mean this maybe the last riddick we see.... the game is very good guys dont read into the ign review give it a chance at least a rental 2 games for 1!
