Yeah, I read that on NEOGAF. Sounds like Pandemic mostly did it too themselves. I know Mercs 2 was buggy as hell and should have had about 6 more months of dev time.

heard bout this in game informer like 2 years ago, then i forgot about it till the media blitz recently.

i am thinking heavily of using the 10 dollar gift card from amazon for this.

i am an open world game fan and fan of period peice games as well, so i am on this

I've been watching some stuff on this at Gametrailers and it looks really good. I didn't like Mercs 2 at all but this game seems to have good hand to hand fighting mechanics and a quality open world. The achievements also look like they'd be fun.

It seems like the game has the fighting of Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, the freerunning friendly open world of Assassins Creed, the gang presence of Saint's Row or GTA:SA and the police escalation of GTA 4. Not a bad mix.

I think I am going to try this out. Dragon Age didn't last as long as I thought it would, and it's taking some time to get some real content mods out for it. This looks pretty good and more interesting the more videos I see.

IGN AU Review - 8.2

It’s an odd little saucisson, this one. Sean is distinctly unlikeable for the first two or three hours of gameplay, but gradually grows on you. The story is reasonable, although hampered by some laughable dialogue – which we hope was deliberate, and steaming ‘round the city and surrounding countryside giving the Nazis what for is entertaining enough that you almost don’t need a story.

While it’s a little rough around the edges we enjoyed this game more than we thought we would. It’s far from perfect, but it’s great to see Pandemic going out with a bang.

I've played it a bit on PC but I want to pick it up for 360. IMO one of those fun games that reviews rate a 7 but alot of people will love (or hate depending on if you get what they're going for)

This I like...

Sean is an experienced brawler (he can kill an NPC with a single punch) a marksman, and an explosives expert. This translates to some loose run-and-gun gameplay and the ability to plant dynamite on Nazi equipment. In contrast to the subject matter, the combat is relaxed to the point of being silly. Clearly based on an arcade style shooter, ammo is plentiful and Sean can absorb about 50 shots from a sub-machine gun before death becomes an issue. Even then, health regenerates in a snap.

I was expecting the opposite die in 1-4 hits kinda deal.
