Hey, I saw on CNBC today about a guy who wrote a book called "How to Complain." It talked about how if you get bad service/product/anything, to do certain things like don't wait, be courteous/respectful, talk to the people you can make the decisions and what not. I would say to keep trying, take down all the names of the people involved, and keep all written forms of any information. Don't give up man, trust me. This guy on CNBC got a new car after his was a piece of crap. All it takes is some patience and hard work to get what you truly deserve.

I really hope all works out, partly so you can stick it to the company cause I've been screwed by them in the past and will never do business with them again.

        Thanks,
        DaHokieBird

No offense Hokie, but comparing a $34 trade in to a vehicle that GETS you to places that costs 20k-40k ranks a lot higher up than the games. There's a reason why that guy was on CNBC was persistant... that's TOO MUCH MONEY to throw away. That goes beyond a small lesson learned with EB/GS.

Get the store number and e-mail the district manager. Tell them how you are dissatisfied with their decision or response and how your confidence in the company has eroded, etc. You will get something, it has worked every time for me.

Check a couple posts up. The games he traded didn't qualify anyways.

I was only giving an example, this guy on CNBC has used the "art of complaining" for much smaller things too. I wasn't trying to compare a car to some videogames; I was just showing that this guy is crediable. Whatever though.

Thank you all for trying to help, but I myself did not read all of the add. I am in the wrong, NOT EB. I will apologize to the employees next visit for complaining, and as far as I am concerned the issue is done. I would also like to say I am sorry for wasting all of you guys time.

Even though they weren't part of the trade in promotion....you still got ripped off $34 for 3 PS3 games that cost you $180 in purchase...thats a major loss...

When i worked at GameStop Corp. were always a pain in the ***......me and the rest of the employees always talked about how we could make the company so much better.....especially with the used games sales...aka not sell games that wont work like Skyboxers Smack down vs Raw 2007 and my Madden i bought a while back
