I know there are a million FAQ's out there.......but please bare with me. If my router is in my living room and the XBox will be in the bedroom (upstairs) I won't be able to get by DSL speed without hooking up to my router right?

I actually bought a 50 footer, cause I had to go from upstairs to a basement, and across the basement....the cable was only like 20 bucks, worth it to get my PC and PS2 online
