Just played the Demo and I'm very, very impressed, I think the game is original and is sweet.

Isn't that pretty short for modern era games? At least there'll be replayability with the massive amount of decisions and storyline choices you can make.

Though truth be told 8 hrs is more then enough for me.

8 hrs is fine for me. Because it's so short you can play it a couple of times to see what different out comes you get.

Definitely interested in this game. Not sure if it's a day 1 purchase but, definitely getting it at some point.

The crime scene was a bit too much tedious search, though it was rewarding to find things. But loved the Shelby scene.

love the idea, but unfortunately the demo is too short to show how important your decisions actually impact the storyline. i went through both scenes, and tried different angles, nothing seems to really make a significant impact.


for example, first i saved the prostitute by beatin the guys ess, she thanked me, demo ended. then i TRIED to save her, let him kick my ess, she thanked me, demo ended. then i didnt even attempt to help her, i stood outside the door, listened. she screams and screams, nothing happens. so i leave. demo ended. so i dont know if ANY of my decisions actually impact the game? the ONLY story changer was if you elect to "buy" she gets mad, and kicks you out. while if you "trick" she talks...


if each decision actually did have a varying impact the game will be solid. but from what i can tell the game TELLS you what to push, so you can watch your movie?? i dont know, im on the fence.

IGN rarely gives bad reviews though.

I watched the GT video review and that seems to be a very realistic review of this game though considering all the questions/slight concerns posed in said review I was surprised at the overall high score it got (8.9).

Modern era..........most games on average are only 10 to 14 hours long. Modernwarfare 1 & 2 took me 11 hours to beat. Heck out of the 34 games I bought in 2009, the only one that lasted over 14 hours was Dragon Age and Batman and some other game I can't remember the name of.

Sure 8 hours is short.......but this generation, it is pretty much the norm. Long gone of the days were a game would take you a month or two to beat. Most games can be beaten in a day or two now.

^ wow.... most people have beat COD modern warfare 2 in 4-6 hours. it was one common aspect of the game that received bad feedback

The longest I've ever spend on a COD game was 2 weeks but that was COD 2 and I was playing on Veteran. But I do agree, it seems games are too short these days, especially for the price involved.

online play, imo is the reason for this. Not saying its a bad thing, but it serves as replayability and has become a popular way to game.

Preordered at Gamestop near work. Interestingly enough, they've got a midnight launch for it (I guess some of the people that preorder requested one and the guy there tries to do midnight ones for people who want it). No way I'm driving the 30 mins to pick it up at midnight, but thought that was cool of them.
