Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit didn't tank, granted it was one more platforms but it also didn't have the media push this game is getting.

Be the Origami Killer in Heavy Rain DLC

David Cage has revealed that one episode of Heavy Rain's Chronicles DLC puts you in the body of the Origami Killer himself.

Over the course of an hour you'll uncover the reason for his murderous obsession, Cage told gameblog.fr (helpfully decoded by our friends at Eurogamer France).

Another Chronicle will be based on FBI profiler Norman Jayden, and in it we'll find out where he got his scar and how he became addicted to prescription psychoactive drug Triptocaine.

And there's also the episode starring photographer Madison Paige, who trots off to investigate a taxidermist and unsurprisingly runs into a spot of bother. We'll find out why she can't sleep, too.

The Heavy Rain Chronicles will be around an hour long, according to David Cage, and serve as prequels to the characters in Heavy Rain. Nothing has been said about episodes starring the other two leads, Ethan Mars and Scott Shelby.

Sony announced the Chronicles DLC last year and told us it would comprise of two instalments, both to be available after Heavy Rain's release - 26th February.

Wouldnt knowing who the killer is and why he kills ruin the experience?? Im guessing you have to beat the game before playing the DLC.

SCEE confirms Heavy Rain demo for February 11

SCEE’s confirmed tonight that the demo for Heavy Rain will be on the PS Store from February 11.

“Heavy Rain demo should be on the store on the 11th of Feb,” said Mike Kebby on the EU PS Blog.

A couple of weeks back, an Sony spokesperson told VG247 that a demo was being planned before the game’s release near the end of February.

The first mention of a demo came last August during gamescom, when Quantic Dream boss David Cage told us that a teaser was being looked at.

Heavy Rain releases on February 23 in the US, and February 26 in the UK.

It got a 9/10 in its first review from OPM UK, but there ain’t no sequel coming for it, according to Cage.

Man...this game had fallen off my radar until I recently read a Game Informer article about it. I forgot how much I was looking forward to it and Alan Wake. It seems like there has been an unusually high number of quality titles coming out in short succession the last several months (or at least an unusually high number of games piquing my interest). I'm in videogame overload these days...lol...and I'm loving every minute of it. Looking forward to this one.
