Like the goosebumps books ? I've had to quit two or three times to make sure I play it a certain way. I'm just now to the part where

Yea man!!!I loved those goosebump books where you choose scenarios and turn the page according to that decision. Great books man! I used to cheat like a little dirtbag man. I would choose something and flip back and forth if it didnt like it! That and carmen sandiago books where the jam back in the day. (aaaaand I just dated myself)

What an E P I C game and story!!! This has to be one of the best games I've ever played. Never have I been so immersed in the story of a videogame. I stayed up til 3AM last night playing this game to finish it, and I NEVER do that.

Sony has announced a new edition of Heavy Rain containing downloadable content and bonus videos.

Heavy Rain: Director's Cut releases on November 8 in the U.S. for $29.99 and contains the following goodies:

• Complete original game, Heavy Rain
• Heavy Rain Chronicles: Episode 1 – The Taxidermist DLC
• Heavy Rain Original score (16 tracks)
• New front-end menu and interface with built-in Move support
• A series of 8 “Making Of” bonus videos
• Three dynamic themes (Heavy Rain, Heavy Rain ARI Forest, Heavy Rain ARI Mars)
• 15 additional pieces of new concept art
• 2 bonus trailers

Additionally, the Heavy Rain Crime Scene dynamic theme will be available for free to download for all PS3 users on the same day.

Don't know about multiplatform, it was SCEE that recently trademarked Infraworld, which was the game they started before Heavy Rain that they couldn't get published.

How long is this game? I rented it a while back, but only was able to play for about an hour, so a waste of a rental, basically.

The game looked great and the voice acting was really good. It seemed to start off really slow, though. I wasn't a big fan of making my character brush his teeth, shower or tell his kid to do some homework. Are there a lot of these tasks in the game?

It certainly picks up later. I don't recall playing time but this is one game that should NOT be missed if you enjoy the whole "amazing story" kind of thing in video games.

It's completely engrossing and really grabs a hold of you.

Perhaps you'll change your tune once you take a shower (in the game).
