Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I think I might pick up Halo, still not convinced yet. But halo is in the lead. In The review I read, the reviewer said that you would'nt see what all the fuss is about simply looking at it, you need to sit and play it.
But from all the pics I seen. It seems you fight alot of aliens. I wanna kill humans dammit.

Well you can always kill the Marines if you like. After killing a couple they will trun on you. I am in the same boat that I dont care for the sci-fi stuff and aliens but Halo was still everything you could want in a FPS.

Your not the only one injunwal. I wasn't blown away by SC either.

1-No replay value. 9 missions and that's it. No bonus missions, no alternate endings, no secrets, no unlockables, no nothing.

2-Weak weapons. A pistol that takes 6-10 shots to bring down a guard.

3-Insane trial and error difficutly. Constantly dieing over and over again just to find out the correct sequence/pattern to complete mission objectives.

I'm not trying to bash the game, just my opinions of course. I'd take Halo any day over SC.

Personally, I just think Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance is a much better "stealth action game" than SC. Just my opinion though.

Halo, hands down. Splinter Cell is a good rental game, since its pretty short and can be beaten in the span of one or two rentals. I liked it more than MGS2 (those cutscenes and codex things are probably the worst thing in any game ever), but it doesn't have the level of polish that MGS2 has.

If you do not get Halo, you should be tracked and hunted down to be tortured before being executed.

Nah, not really... But you really have to get Halo. I dont think people should be allowed to get the box without Halo. Should be illegal or something. But splinter cell is also excellent.

                            Re: Question for XBox owners?

Damn, I'm still a little stuck. Even tho each one of you recomended Halo, SC is now in the lead. For a few resons.

For 1, I like steathy FPS, like Hitman. The suspense and patient waiting thrills me. Trail and error are in any FPS. I keep reading that its a frustrating trail and error but you can never beat a mission in just one try. Hitman is my experience, I died so many times tryna figure out where all of the enemies are located it just kills you. Literaly.

                            2. I like FPS that has humans as the enemies and also uses real guns, like 9mm or AK47s and crap like that. In Halo, I saw nothing but flashy colorful laser beam type weapons. And it was all aliens. Like BD saidd,I could care less for the sci-fi theme.

Its a tough one, but I'm leaning more towards SC, for the stealthy, slow paced, thinking mans FPS. All of the FPS I own are, Raimbow Six, Rouge Spear, Operation Flashpoint, Hitman 1 and 2, Deux Ex, Americas Army,Max Payne, Soilder of Fortune, and the only xception for a FPS with Aliens is HalfLife, and I did'nt really like the single player mode, I play the online game.
So for the majority of all those games, stealth and slow paced action are the key to victory. And that is making SC seem more of my flavor than Halo.
I'm pretty sure the game is hella fun with all the vehicals and every thing. The key thing that turned me off, is reading that you'll prolly shoot millions of bullets killing off the enemy. And that to me sounds fast paced.
But thanks for all the recommendations still, I'll prolly be back asking about another exclusive XBox title since I just got one.

                                Graphik... Trust me...
Before i had halo, i had all my friends telling me that i should get it. But i remember telling them they were ******** for running around jumping from place to place" shooting colorful plasma bullets. I personally preferred and still prefer realistic shooters like Medal of Honor, Ghost Recon, etc... But Halo is just captivating...especially with the story....i cant tell you how good it is...you will feel it for yourself...

Really.... bad things will happen if you do not get halo
