I'd never buy a used console. I just don't trust them.

One more question, how similiar is the game to Socom. If I've been playing Socom for a few months, should I be able to jump right into Ghost Recon?

I really did'nt trust it eaither so I bought a 15 buck thingy for a year saying if it breaks I can take it back aand get another one. But after he showed it to me I was sold, it looks exactly brand new.

And to the second question, Nope. Two completly diffrent games IMO, SOCOM is like you plan your team viavoice command and GR, you have to basicly guide them thru the mission via waypoints. But I've always been a Fan of tom Clancey games so I like GR better. Bt you can take what I say with a grain of sugar. I could'nt really get into the 1 player mode on SOCOM.
But they both have diffrent styles.
I'm gonna pick up Splinter Cell or Halo to day. I'm a see if he has a used copie of Halo for me to teast out at EB.

Try Blockbuster Graphik...I have them both...Halo is fun but I haven't gotten that far in it... I have too many damn games...I have til what, the end of 2003 to finish Halo before Halo 2 to come out...that's plenty of time so it's not one of my priorities. I'm taking Panzer Dragoon Orta to Gamestop today to trade in on ASB 2004. I played PDO maybe 5 minutes and have not touched it since...it's not my style...I've had Splinter Cell since release and I'm just now getting into it...It's hard to put down sports games...everytime I crank up the Box it's NCAA BB 2K3..

Oops my bad, have'nt played the online game yet. If you look at the othe two threads I started you can see the jam I'm in and I have'nt played Live yet.
I wonder if they will take Live back and give me full store credit even after opening it? The plastic thing it came in is completely ripped open but the box is still intact.

tell me about it, I'm a complete game whore. I've got so many games i wanna complete that its sickening. It goes back to my childhood, my moms and pops would never buy me a damn video game. Only games they ever brought me was Contra for NES and Tony Larussa for Genesis. I gained a collection thru trading, batering if you will. Every since then I vowed that if I want a game and I got the money, to just go ahead and spoil yourself. At lease I'm not like mmy friend, he has a large library of games but plays em once and leaves em on the floor somewhere for someone to steal.
I've been stuck between Halo, and SC but I'm gonna go with SC because thats more my type of game. I like dark stealthy games where patience is the key. I'm might also rent Halo, if I can find it at blockuster.
