I can't decide if I'm man enough to turn off the lights and play right now at 1 am in an empty house...

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
More props on how long this game just might be...
After the first level, when you enter the bathysphere, a menu comes up with 8 slots- each one is a location to travel on and when I saw it, I figured there were 8 levels. Somewhere in the instruction book it was said you can go back to previous levels to deal with little sisters.
So I'm progressing through the game and although I haven't returned back to the bathysphere, I'm thinking in my head that I've probably finished about five or so levels as that's about how many times my map has changed. I figure I'm about half way through the game, maybe a little bit further.
Well I finally made it back to the bathysphere and found out that I've only completed TWO actual levels and am just now starting the third level! I still have FIVE more levels yet to unlock! The size and scope of each of these levels is just unreal.
I've already put somewhere between 12-15 hours into the game and unless the game's last few levels are significantly shorter than the first two, I'm not even half way through the game. Unbelievable.
What's more is that each level has been so different than the one before it. After seeing this new level, I can't even imagine what's yet to come. I'm absolutely blown away by the size of this game. Haven't been this giddy about a game since I don't know when. Just wow...Comment

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
I feel as if at this point, the single player is so good that it justifies no multiplayer. That being said, I can't help but think of the possiblilities of what multiplayer could have been. Everyone choosing four different plasmids to start. Litter the map with pools of water, oil slicks, oxygen tanks and security cameras and watch all hell break lose. I could see people firing grenades only to have them sent back through telekinesis... lighting a guy on fire and then firing a heat seeking rpg... frying a guy running through a pool of water with electricity. Hacking cameras or poisoning health stations... And when you start thinking about the plasmids that come later on in the game it could get even more insane. Multiplayer could have been cool. Still, without it, this game is in the running for the best game I've ever played.Comment

This game does rock.
I pumped the difficulty to hard and turned the arrow off and I'm having a blast running around looking for trouble.Comment

I just got done playing with all the lights out and surround turned up, it's the only way to play. I almost killed my cat for rubbing against my leg, I thought she was asleep.Comment

Wow....
I kinda liked the demo, it was cool, but the actual game is so much better...I like the different plasmids, and there are so many ways to kill things...damn...this game is awesome! Stayed up an hour later than I wanted just to play, and can't wait until tomorrow. The story makes me want to learn more (Diaries, just go through plot too). Stellar game, great purchase.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
