I'm going to wait on an official comment before I delve in. I bought it today, but this kind of ticks me off...it's like the morons who buy full screen movies because it fills the screen. Widescreen should show MORE, not less.

If I have to wait a week or two, no problem. My wife is also perceptible to the motion sickness so the added zoom might hamper her enjoyment as well.

did you play the demo? did you have a problem with it? if yes to first question and no to second, then there shouldnt be a problem.

Yes and no, but I'm a stickler for this stuff. Now that I know it's cropped, I'm sad that I'm missing stuff!

I imagine official world will come down within 24-48 hours, so it's not a big deal. Hell, it allows me to play my league games!

Wow, people are actually suggesting that this was done on purpose?

I think I'm officially in wait mode with this game now. I bought a widescreen TV for a reason and I hate the zoomed in effects of pan and scan movies. Hopefully they can somehow patch this.

I am in agreement. Another way that the internet can ruin video games. If people were never told this, they would have played the game and been happy.

Seems that is the direction it will be headed. Since the thread over at 2k started this morning, 2kLiz said she will get back with info. Since she hasnt, it can be safely assumed that something might not be right, so indeed a bug.

I can guarantee that if indeed its a bug they will fix it for the pc; can they do the same for the 360? i dont know, though i would think they can. Has there been other games released with screwed up resolution which has been patched on the 360?

I agree, although I'd be happy if they fixed it. But it hasn't ruined the game for me.

for pc yes. Stalker comes to mind.

They had an issue with widescreen support and released a patch shortly after to fix it.

EAs battlefield 2 ( i think? or was it 2142) also had an issue with this. Again however, these were all pc's version of the game. So i don't about any new gen console games having an issue.

If anyone was gonna get sick from this it would have been me and I finished the demo last night without any sickness. And yeah I agree with Bacardi151 that it's funny that no one cares about this or even notices until they know about it, then suddenly it's an issue. Pretty funny.

So for those of you who have the game is this issue in the game? Or how could you even really tell unless you could also play it on an SDTV and see to compare. Just wondering..

I heard about this before purchasing the game this morning. So far I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I have 360 version playing on my 22' widescreen monitor, and my playing experience thus far has been met with 100% satisfaction.

same. i didnt feel any different with the full game. It is apparent however, that there is a problem from the different forums reporting the issue

Most of what's cropped from this screen is no big deal, except for maybe the where the hand cuts off. I would think the "right" view would have the full hand and forearm. I have the game but haven't opened it yet. I'm going to check the demo again first. I'm pretty sure this wont bother me enough to return it.

If it's cropping it off like people say then hows come you can see your health and mana (or whatever it's called) just fine in the upper left hand corner of the screen? I guess i'm just confused about trying to figure this all out, despite the multiple pictures.
