Watched my son get two different endings today! Awesome endings for the two he got. One was very nice, the other very grim and sadistic.

He is playing to get the third now I think.

I was confused here too...there's an elevator on the left side with a button (the little cage area). Hit the button, go up, and move on!

I'm in the same spot more or less after Cohen gives you a 'task.'

This question isn't a spoiler, but the answer probably will be....Where exactly does Cohen fit into the plot? I don't really remember him being mentioned before. Did I miss something or will it be revealed as I do his bidding?

I finished with the happy ending and I must say it was one of the most touching game endings I can ever remember. I really felt moved at the end. So whoever said there is no emotional involvement in gaming was way off. My wife watched me play a lot of the game and she thought it was moving as well.

Yea I thought so as well, it destroyed the evil / harvest ending.

Very touching indeed, our character got what he wanted in the end, gotta love the last cut away. If you felt nothing watching that and hearing the narrative, then you are not alive.

                      *Checks Pulse*

                      Everything seems to check out!

I liked the game and the first part of the story, but towards the end it kind of fell apart. I can't even imagine playing for the "bad" ending because I don't see how Tennenbaum would help you after killing all her "little ones". It's one thing for her to help you after freeing them all, but is everything else in the game identical if you harvest them instead? Any dialogue changes?

There have been much better endings in a lot of other games. The ending was a bit of a letdown.

Woo hoo, he freed them (and you know it was your character as you saw the tattoo). But how a group of genetically enhanced little girls somehow reach top side and have perfect, well adjusted lives seems a bit far fetched...no? Plus, isn't your guy all jacked up on Adam and a freak of nature anyway? He was what, 50 pounds at age one (listening to Suchong's diaries) and has plasmids and enhancements himself? Look at Fontaine, can he go buy a sandwich in Midtown?

No one said they were perfect, they just had a chance to be normal and they loved him for it. The game seemed to insinuate the main character was somewhat back to normal.

I also had forgotten, but was reminded, how powerful the Ryan death scene was. I thought the whole " a man chooses, a slave obeys" was very powerful stuff for the story.

Of course it's cool that you didn't feel the same....you ratatouille splicer you.

I really liked the Ryan death scene, that was powerful. The foreshadowing where he said "now that I see you I know I can't kill you" was pretty sweet.

Don't knock Remy man, that movie was awesome! I'm a huge Pixar/old Disney buff and 'Ratatouille' was the second movie my wee one saw in theaters.

Pixar is the king. They don't make bad movies. Congrats on taking the little one to the movies. It's great to share those moments with the kids.
