      sort of spoiler

WHAT?!!!?? THAT'S IT? After all that it ends with a 30 second cut scene? I had planned on playing again on hard but now I don't know that I really want to. Good game, but the ending was weak.

You aren't the only disappointed one. I like bona fide endings that go a while, not just a quick cap to a "story as the game".

Specially when you compare it to the beginning and the sense of awe it inspired. The ending just felt sort of tacked on - here's how it all ended as you ride off happily ever after into the sunset. It ended and it kicked me back to the menu and and all I could say was WTF, that's it?

I just finished it today and got the happy ending. There was no way I was going to be able to harvest the little girls. I though the ending was terrific although very abrubt.

              My exact thoughts.

I even felt bad for killing their Bodyguards. The first time you hear one say, "Please get up Mr. Bubbles" it kinda hurts.

I just finished the game (as a good guy) and loved it. It goes on my list as one of the best games ever.. two quick questions that are spoilers of sorts:

                Spoiler Alert:

There was a spiral like sculpture in the area where you had to kill the 4 different people and photograph them. At the top of the sculpture from looking at the map, it seemed like there was a room or area up there. How the heck do you get up there? I tried jumping for a while, but I couldn't seem to climb that sculpture. Also, in the workshop area there was an area under some stairs with a recorder and a few other objects. However, I could never get under those stairs and telekinesis wouldn't pull the objects out. How do you get under those stairs?

                  Re: BioShock Spoiler/Tips thread

I went ahead and beat it on hard harvesting sisters this time. I definitely liked the good guy ending better.

Plowed through big daddies like they weren't even there which is a minor complaint. I kind of wish the game had been a little bit harder at the end. I understand you were an adam'd up freak, but at the end I feel like I'm just pushing through so I can see the end. I liked fighting BDs when you were counting every shot fired wondering if your ammo/eve/health will hold out.

Not sure on your sculpture problem, but for the other one, there is a small hole in the wall to the right of those stairs. It's in the shadows and blends into the wall around it so hunt for it while crouched.

Thanks Mudtiger. I look forward to getting all of the recorders when I play through again on Hard.

Even though we (me and son) passed this game multiple times, I don't think we ever figured that one out.

Well I finally passed this game. After not playing for two weeks I went at it yesterday and passed it.

Debating if I should play it again on Hard mode and harvest all the Little Sisters this time around.

                          Ending Spoiler

The ending... she disappoints me. It's nice that everyone goes on to live wonderful lives but what the hell happens to Rapture? Kind of sucks for that guy... having all those "daughters."

There's a panel along the wall that you can open and go in.

Too late for us, we actually overplayed this game and got bored. We traded it in today and picked up MOH Airborne.
