Just played an hour on the SCEA servers...this game RULES! It's so much fun, I can't even say how much fun it is. You can do what you want, how you want it. I said before, it feels like the PC version of Battlefield, and I stick by that. Above any other game I've played on a console in a long time, this game feels how big PC games feel. Playing in a 32 person room is just awesome.

I got about 25 minutes of playtime in, by myself in a room I created. It does feel alot like the PC version of Battlefield 1942, and I absolutely love it.

Came home with the game and my wife said "Wow, you're finally getting something to play on your PS3?". Until now, it's been The Show and Blu-Rays, but this game will change that. Looking forward to getting on one of the SCEA servers and getting the hang of things.

**** I should've never come in this damn thread. I had no plans of checking this out beforehand, but the impressions sound pretty good. As long as I don't drive by a game store I should be good lol.

I feel the same way. I still have the Show taking up a bunch of my free time, and I just added Metroid to that as well and now I feel compelled to pick up Warhawk. I'm afraid if I wait the learning curve will be too high.

Just got off from playing an hour plus, and man am I glad I bought a PS3. This game is a real blast online, everything from the dogfights in the sky, to the battles on the ground. The SCEA servers are solid. Free online, no lag, I'm lovin' it.
