I hope they increase the server time for the large CTF maps. 15 minutes is way too short in a competitive struggle.

Re: Warhawk
I haven't played this game yet, but the price for a used copy at Gamestop is now $29.99. How is Warhawk online and are people still playing this?
What are the 2 map packs I have read about and what is their cost? Do you need those map packs to play online with the original game to get your feet wet?Comment

The 2 expansion packs are fantastic, both add vehicles, weapons, and maps. I think the combo back is only 12 bucks, so if you paid 30 for it used, you'd basically get everything for the price of it new. ($40).Comment

Great online game. Servers are still very full, I was playing the other night.

Re: Warhawk
Yeah, it's $40. The $60 version came with the headset. I just have the downloaded version, easier to maintain and allowed me to play it longer as I would have traded it in again otherwise. LOLComment

Re: Warhawk
There seemed to be some drop off when GTA came out, but I think things have picked up since then. I got burned out for about 3-4 weeks, but I've started playing more again. I don't know that this game will ever really get old.Comment

I'll add some of you OS'ers since they expanded the friend list limit to 100.Comment

Re: Warhawk
If you're starting off, either play some unranked player servers (they'll have a X'd trophy on the server list), hop in a server with someone on your list, or join a rookie server.
BE CAREFUL, there are some people who either don't want to rank up or created alternate accounts in a couple of rookie servers that just beat up on new players all day. Other than that, once you learn the ropes to this game and not worry about stats, the game is enjoyable.Comment

Re: Warhawk
Yeah, if you're starting off you should filter the games to "Player" so you don't have to play in anything that's ranked and will count against your stats.Comment

Re: Warhawk
No, the expansions are seperate. The last one has gotten more positive feedback than the first expansion. Broken Mirror consists of the Vaporfield Glacier map, the largest one that IMO was done very well. Omega Down consists of Omega Factory, which had some promise but didn't live up to the hype.

Re: Warhawk
I finally bought this the other day from Gamestop used and the first night I played it I was so-so about the game. I think the learning curve kind of made say, blah, this goes back. Then this morning I started playing more and the larger scaled maps are just so damn fun. I am having a hard time flying any of the planes, but hopefully with time I figure it out.
The camera was driving me nuts at first, but have gotten used to it.
There was no lag, which is good. There are a lot of goofballs coming after you with their knives, so I just toss a gernade at them as they are approaching and kaboooooooooom. Does the knife kills = to Battlefield knife kills with dog tags type of reward?
Hopefully those that have it, we can get a game going.
I am getting tired of these morons that continue to TEAM KILL ............ ARGH!!!!!!!! Do you get points for killing your team?Comment

Re: Warhawk
Candy, I believe there are badges and medals and ribbons for all different types of kills.
Also, I suggest making your own 1 man server and practice flying. once you get into the multiplayer games some of those guys will kill you a lot if your not good at flying. just got to practice some.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment
