I've spent the last 11 months sharing an apartment with a girl (who has no TV in her room) and as a result my Warhawk playtime has been reduced to almost nill (haven't touched it since Omega Dawn). As of October 1st though, I'll be living in my own apartment and playing again religiously (I hope). I was merely decent before (got as high as Wingman) but I imagine I'll be terrible once I fire it up again. It also looks like I have to pick up one new map pack (and another coming out in a week?). I'm in the OS Clan (Samhainsgrim), but I don't know how many people from it play. I'm going to try to ease back into it over this next month, maybe I'll see some of you guys around.

Yeah, Thursday the 28th. The new patch that will add trophies and all that stuff is Wednesday.

Eton, I was thinking about that, too. Warhawk was slowed some by GTA, though it recovered after a couple of weeks. I'd expect a similar result, maybe more.

1.50 came out yesterday. Got a couple trophies and did some training. I never even knew you could press L2+R2 to do a power slide like that.

Really? I'm a powersliding fool in the skies, it's how I fight.

Edit to add: I've yet to do it, but I hear you can earn trophies in pre-game and unranked servers. What a load of BS.

Which is actually good. Imagine playing ranked servers with all those people ruining games by just going for Trophies instead of helping the team. Personally I've always hated online achievements for this reason but with this game there isn't much choice.

As far as power sliding, lol, not sure how I've been playing without it since launch.

I guess you have a point there. Let the people so caught up in statpadding play offline or in unranked servers while the real players play ranked games.

Also, I am so glad that they have training modes now. This game really needed it at launch because you get creamed when you first play this game. I bought the new booster pack and I would love to tell you how the new jetpacks are but there were never at at the dispencer like the tip said. This game is really gotten on my nerves now because they have added so much content and I can't seem to use anything right. Really wish they had a training mode for all the vehicles. It would make the game much easier.

Agreed with the training mode. Last year though the only people who were good were the beta players, so the majority didn't know what they were doing, but it was tough for new players with the influx of players who decide to create alternate accounts to pound on new players all day.

So far I've gotten all my trophies on the official servers and I'm not really going after them. It makes earning them a lot better when you don't expect it.

Haha, power sliding is SOOOOO useful in normal flight. (Pro Flight it's more for manuevering, but in normal flight you can keep up with your target).
