That'll take up some time for sure. You just find yourself playing 2 3 4 hours at a time not noticing

I get the vibe that you guys are thinking SR will be funner or something. I loved SR, and the next edition looks pretty good. I think going after GTA is funny, but I can't help but to feel they know they have the inferior product so they feel the need to talk mess.

GTA 4 is a great game, but it does lack the replayability that san andreas had. I put around 100 hours into GTA 4's single player stuff alone taking my time and got 100% as well, but there's just not as much to do once you finish all that. I've moved onto other games already.

I don't mind SR taking shots at GTA. GTA never had a problem doing the same thing about other franchises in their previous games. They don't need to be hypocrites, although they just might threaten a lawsuit anyways, like the Grand Theft Scratchy parody in the Simpsons game.

I loved the first Saint's Row better than GTA.

Now that I'm almost done with GTAIV. I think when SR2 is released, I'd play it more than GTAIV. SR series just seems to give you more to do than that basic missions, and the level of customizing things is a big plus for me.

Must Buy on Day 1 for me!

What's sad is that most of that stuff in the video as a plus for SR2, was actually in San Andreas. Skydiving, planes, fights, arena races, monster trucks, character customization, etc. There was so much in that game that was dropped in GTA 4.

The GTA 4 story was okay, but San Andreas had goofy things like a top secret area 51 type base for a jetpack that really isn't even top secret technology. Or burning a field of weed with a flame thrower and getting high while having to drive off. GTA 4 took itself too seriously, and SR2 can really step up in the void Rockstar left open.

This game looks like its going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait to play it. The amount crazy things you are going to be able to in this game is what is going to make it so much fun. The crazy and over the top atmosphere is what makes this game different from GTA IV.

GTA IV is a game that could almost simulate someones life while Saints Row is a game that is trying to give a gamer the most amount of fun possible. That to me is the biggest difference between the two games and its also the reason why I think some people really enjoy GTA IV while others believe it was a disappointment.

So imo if your the type of gamer that wants a game that will really suck you in and won't let you go until you finish get GTA IV if you're a gamer who's main priority is to have fun above everything else get Saints Row.

Love the activities video, GTAIV is great for what it does but it was less sandbox and more an open world shooter. Probably will pick this up on day 1.

I played the first Saints Row demo and thought it was ok but I never bought the game. This trailer looks awesome though, I'll have to pick this one up.

I own the original Saints Row, and Im' looking forward to the sequel, but it shocks me to my bones everytime someone thinks this will be in the same universe as GTA IV.

You might want to pick up the first one, the story line follows the first one! Unlike the GTA series, this is a true sequel... It will continue where Saint's Row 1 left off! And continue your revenge!

Rockstar spent 100 million on GTA 4, so obviously it won't be the same. However, that doesn't mean it can't be more fun. For me, GTA 4 lost some of the fun that past GTA games had. It took itself too seriously and SR2 looks to capitalize on that by joking on how much fun you can have in GTA 4. It's still awhile to the release, so it could be great or be a bomb, but I can't wait to see. I got bored of GTA 4 in mid May.

It's not going to get the same AAA-Title, GAME OF THE CENTURY????? Treatment from the gaming media but that doesn't matter to me.

I mess around in GTA; but the options to do once you beat the game are mediocre. I can continue to blow up cop cars or try to find 200 stupid birds, so I get a helicopter.

Is the Saint's Row 2 story going to be like the Iliad? Nope, but I don't care. Besides, GTA had a pretty bad story as well.
