I tried one of those. Reminded me of Pit Fight.

There's so much that's not even on the map. There doesn't seem to actually be anything there in terms of rewards but it's fun to explore anyway.

After playing GTA, I was a little dissapointed at how barren Stillwater feels initially. The city doesn't feel "alive" like Liberty City with lots of traffic and pedestrians. Also, I agree with someone on GAF that mentioned that the cultural stereotypes in this game border on offensive.

All that said, the city is huge and well laid out...and the gameplay is bananas. There is SOOOOOOO much to do and explore. The one thing SR still does really well is letting the AI create funny situations right before your eyes...fights and shootouts that have nothing to do with you. I also really like what you can do to pimp out your cribs and rides. Makes aquiring money mean something, unlike GTA. Driving and shooting physics both feel GREAT. The customization is deep..although not being able to change the shape of the eyes and lips makes all the characters look same-ish, IMO, it's still a great feature. Clothing customization is meh, the hero was much better dressed in SR1, but there are tons of stores to shop...and rob.

Overall, the production values are nowhere near GTA, and you'll notice that immediately. Likewise, the story is still wanksta' drivel...But gameplay-wise, Saints is the DeeBo of sandbox games. Every corner of Stillwater is packed with fun stuff to do.

Tossing Goth-chicks off the observatory roof one-by one...priceless.

You can customize the lips. I don't remember customizing the eyes other than the color (I picked random for most things) but can for sure do lips and the expression options also changes lips.

I was just throwing construction workers off the 2nd floor of the stuff they were working on.

This game, at first glance, seems like it's going to be a blast! I spent an hour last night spraying high dollar houses and cars with raw sewage! It was AWESOME!

I think I'll pass on this one. I get tired of the GTA series too quickly and this doesn't seem to be much different, at least not enough for me to get.

I'll save my money for GoW 2 and COD 5 (maybe Rockband2)

After getting lost in all those places I thought now all I need is to be lost in the supermarket (a song by The Clash)...what happens? Get lost in the secret mall. It was time to turn it off anyway so I just saved and when I loaded I was out. I have to go back anyway cause I ran out of money and there's a nice car there that I'll have to figure out how to get out. Now that I remember I meant to exit through the parking garage.

It's somewhat the same, with ALOT more to do. I played for a couple hours last night, and barely touched the story mode.

This game is a lot of fun. The driving is much more user friendly than GTA4 and the combat is WAY better than GTA4.

GTA4's city was a masterpeice and the graphics were beautiful but other than the story and messing around in the city i didn't feel like there was much to do.

This game doesn't have that problem. Tons to do, Tons to shoot, Tons to poop.
Can't wait to try Co-op tonight.

I am sure enjoying it. There ar many parts that feel similar to the first game but different enough to call it a true sequel.

I highly reccomend thoroughly investigating the Harrowgate Police Station. Now I wonder what happens if I call this...oh **** is on now. I'm getting the chainsaw and flamethrower out for this one.

Or maybe save that one for the end.
I think that was the end or maybe that should've been the beginning.
It was one of the intense/chaotic missions I've ever played in one of these games at least.
