I didn't realize that the Needler had become so powerful. I haven't had the opportunity to dual wield, but it's got good range (great for a pistol) and much more kick than in Halo 2. It seems that the Battle Rifle has been given a moderate boost in power as well.

I enjoy dual weilding the spiker for some reason but the battle rifle has really grown on me. However, for pure chaos I love the gravity hammer.

In terms of pragmatism, I think it's the carbine. It is a pretty quick firing rifle, and the scope is awesome. It's also powerful and accurate. It terms of sheer badassery, it's the gravity hammer. That thing is the energy sword times 1000.

Carbine is awesome, Gravity Hammer is by far the most fun weapon. BR is good, i like the AR as well. Dual Maulers are great up close. THe brute shot is also fun in 3, because its actually good, unlike 2.

I've been a Battle Rifle fan since it was introduced in Halo 2. It is my "go to" gun in Campaign and I wish it was still the default weapon in multiplayer. Fantastic all-around gun.

Same. I had 7 straight kills on Sand Trap with that thing. Man it rules.

Melee...I seem to get a lot of kills that way. =/

Looking at my stats. I have 60 melee kills and the next closet weapon is the assault rifle with 19.


I need tips on shooting.

Battle Rifle is easy.

Sniper is always fun. (So is sniping TJ from the gunner of the warthog as it was coming head on at me, but that is another story)

The gravity hammer is amazing.

And then, for duals...the Dual Spiker combo is dirty.
